I disagree. He's had his chances up and down the lineup. Boudreau is old school so Garland's play is what dictates his ice time.

Hogs and Pods are still too young to shelter Garland on the third line and expect results. Hopefully Boudreau sees this hence (and Hogs injury) Garland has a chance to pot a few on the Miller line. Just needs to get a greasy one or two and the rest will follow IMO

The games mean more, require more physical intensity etc. Garland has thrown 7 hits in the last month. A grand total of 2 in the last 2 weeks when the stakes have been at their highest. So if he's not scoring and not bringing it physically, what is he offering Boudreau as an excuse to get him more minutes?

Fair points. Maybe the fit isn't here under Boudreau? Seemed ok under Green lol for what it's worth. I look at ARZ last year 39 points in 49 games with top 6 minutes with lesser players than Miller-Horvat-Petey. For some reason maybe Boudreau is in his head a bit as he's dog housed him a couple times now. Players (like garland) that have shown 60+ point paces ashe did last year also need to be put in positions to succeed. Can't expect huge results all the time with lesser players in a 15 game span IMO. Put him on top 6 minutes and PP2 and leave him there would be my take.

Exactly. Hes tried a few things to get him going, now he gets a night off. The minutes are being earned more by other players right now.

Which was why I dropped the gloves yesterday. In a debate about the TDL and how I felt about the Dermott trade, you called me Boomer... and we all know what you mean by that. My position has nothing to do with the gender in our management group but you can't help yourself. Always playing those cards. There's a group here that are at each others throats. They are polar opposites on many topics. One thing they almost all have in common is putting you in your place about your deck of cards.
