Like I said, I don't expect you to understand. You haven't been in the performer's shoes. Do some research on how much anthem singers get paid. Draw your own conclusions. I am going to place a higher value than you because of my bias toward the art and my experiences.

Art is subjective and it's a field that has much fewer set rules than the majority of the working world. I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about being an artist, but in this particular case I think it's overblown, just my opinion.
