He has?

If we’re giving him credit for passing up on Anton Lundell and taking a consensus #1 pick in Owen Power, sure.

Peterka looks like a great pick. Other than him, what’s made it “fantastic”?

Of course the grade is what it looks to be right now. I read a ton of what the draft experts have said about the prospects - there are so many that look great. The bigger point is that there isn't any reason to be down on him.

Yeah, they're closer to the amount that get in the MLB playoffs then they are that 50%.. So, ya wrong. Can just admit it an move on

Since wild card weekend isn't the regular season over 50% make it actually...

baseball isn't a sport its a game so idk why you are comparing it

Hmm I'll have to check the math..

Nope, still only 14 teams make the playoffs, and 12 play on WC weekend.

I get it, you don't like baseball, but just forgot that not half the teams make the NFL playoffs. I'm moving on for the sake of you saving face, because there isn't enough math in the world where more NFL teams make the playoffs than don't, or even exactly half, unless 2 (or 3 depending on how you want to look at it) get nuked off the earth and the NFL decides to just keep playing.

How great would it be to see a big ole' C on Tuch's Heritage Classic jersey in a few days? I think he's earned it. I think Dahlin has earned an A, but it can wait until next season.

I mean, putting out all time bad goaltending for two years might be?

But other than that he’s been ok.

But that’s different from his drafts being “fantastic” which I’m not sure even ive read draft experts say.

The Sabres future looks bright right now because some of Botterill’s guys are panning out finally

Thompson, Cozens, Dahlin, Skinner, Bryson, Samuelsson all look like they could be or continued to be part of the future.

I think if you took away Thompson and Skinners revelatory seasons this looks a lot bleaker

You can see the team bonding, lot of excitement with these young kids. Tuch's personality seem to bring it all together. Adams needs to add additional pieces to that puzzle now. IMO this team has grown quicker than expected. Still gonna be growing pains, but no need to wait another year.

Jack is immature for sure, last night exposed his childishness.

In reality how much more stupid does it make the Pegulas look to have propped up a spoiled kid and give him the world?

Another massive blow to the image of an incompetent ownership with puppets for management. I want the rivalry and want to beat Jack, but lets not pretend he was the only star hockey player to publicly expose how absolutely horrible the Pegulas are and how bad its been in the place.

Stay on focus, the Pegulas are gooch sniffers and they choose and continued to prop up Eichel creating last night.

Last night was fun because our team tried and the fans got involved, it's still pathetic that ownership let it get to this and was a continuation of the embarrassment that is Pegula Sports & entertainment.

One could argue about the goaltending, surely. But at the same time, we were told that the plan was to not be good this year - he might very well be following marching orders.

I said the other day that I don't think this season could have realistically gone any better than it has. Most nights we are watchable and I think we found out that we have a lot of key pieces going forward.

They're going to be growing next year too.

I wouldn't get our hopes up to quick. We've got at least 3 major prospects that will have to learn next year. But with the right vets it'll make it easier.

I just hope we get a solid goalie and that RD for Power. I can handle Joker with Dahlin for another year if they both keep getting better.

When does Vegas feel the heat of missing out on a playoff spot and try to get Mark Stone back in the lineup? I might be cynical because of Tampa, but did they think they could get by the regular season cap without having to make moves? I hope that screws them and hope the NHL changes the cap rules for the playoffs

Of course there will be more growing pains next year, but doesn't mean they can't add additional pieces and take the next step in there growth. Don't need playoffs next year, but I will take meaningful games in March, and then add the next pieces to the puzzle that offseason and take that next step into the playoffs.

If they are not drafting in the teens next year **Before the lottery, it will be a disappointment. That's my bar next year, which is .500 hockey or better.
