That Eichel post-game interview was very cringe.

He was shook beyond shook. Dude couldn't even focus his eyes.

Hard to watch. It made me uncomfortable.

- BeadyEyedDouche

I saw a tweet someone saying there was enough salt to take care of the roads down on elmwood which is subsequently the only place Eichel visited in Bufflao

Sunset Bay is now a salt-water beach after how much time he spent there.

The organization kind of set up a lot of this when it comes to Jack. This "not wanting to be here" stuff is stupid. He didn't want to play for them anymore and any one of us would have done the same. If Tuch is here for 6 years and sees the same garbage he would want out as well. I am not making excuses for the other stuff - I am just saying that I don't blame the guy for not wanting to stay. It isn't personal to the fans or the city.
- Slump Buster

But it's definitely personal and his comments proved it

“That’s about the loudest I’ve heard this place ever. Really! It only took seven years and me leaving for them to get into the game.”

We wronged him when he was here and we wronged him last night, according to him.

I don't know if he was full GM at that point. From what people have said Ralph was still calling the shots. Not extending 23 was surely a mistake.
- Slump Buster

If KA was controlled by the Pegulas and Ralph, that doesn't paint him in a positive light or dismiss his moves. It was among the worst front office performances in the history of hockey.

It's easy to paint Ralph as the villain, but KA didn't do anything to help.

If they offered Reinhart a long term deal instead of a one year bridge deal in 2020, I bet he would've signed long term.

I think he was listening to a snake and stupidly picked the wrong player.

Pegulas have an exponential chart on GMKA's learning ability on the job.

To those who say Jack Eichel doesn't deserve animosity from the Buffalo fans and it should all be directed at ownership, I'll say this:

As fans of a professional sports team we want good experiences. The best experience possible. Since we don't make personnel decisions we have little influence on if we get there or not.

There is no doubt the Pegula's decision making has brought Sabres fans bad experiences. Jack Eichel decided he no longer wanted to be a part of the solution, despite being physically capable and well paid to do so. The Pegula's remain dedicated to being a solution to the fans desires. Whether they are capable of delivering is yet to be seen. So despite letting us down to this point they are still in our corner.

Now if the Pegula's came out and said "I don't want to do this anymore, this is hard" and decided to sell the team and create instability for the fans, thats different. That's an owner who has the means(just like Eichel's talent and contract commitment) and chooses themselves over us.

We only want good experiences and we root for those who are committed to delivering them.

Further to the above, that doesn't exactly instill much confidence if/when the Pegula's come in and demand the approach change, as they've done with past GM's of the team.

Will Adams have a spine if/when the above happens? I'm dubious on that being the case based upon his performance during the first offseason of his career.

I think this is a big TDL and offseason for Adams. Think it will show some things.

I wouldn't be so sure of that.

As much as Eichel deserves the flack, the Pegulas are 1A in this mess.

Yea, they have lawyers who are absolutely on the lookout for copywright infringement, and use of player likeness type stuff.

But there's only 2 sides. You're either a path to the solution or not. The Pegula's are still a path to the solution. They may not be good at that but either is Cody Eakin. But today March 11th, 2002 I am rooting for both the Pegula's and Cody Eakin to deliver the best fan experience possible.

Ugh stop. The Pegulas did everything in their power to please that dude. They gave him wingers, a 2C, fired every coach he asked them to, traded every ROR he wanted them to, did nothing but try to surround him with talent and support and he took every third game off for like 5 or 6 years until he finally just straight up quit.

Last night spoke volumes for his character. His demeanor on the Vegas bench was as if he was in the Stanley Cup finals already. He hates Buffalo. Every douche-bag ever from Boston hates Buffalo. The video form college he was talking about the Basil daughter, not the city.

He got off the bus to Vegas wasted and coked up already. There's literally video of it. When Vegas limps into 8th place and gets swept by Calgary, you will see him storming into the tunnel and you will watch his post-game interview blaming everyone but himself, and you will watch Vegas implode over the next 2 years until he's crying about how he got a rawer deal than Tim Murray himself.

Again, this has nothing to do with Jack. Kim Pegula is an absolute disaster, several insiders have alluded to this.

"she laughed at in inner circles"

Also, i have yet to see this video. care to link it.
