That's one of the worst contracts in the league.

Oh for sure. But that’s what happens when you have a poopty GM.

The irony here is Toews is proof that play can fall off significantly.

You’re right Feds. And the Pens are very fortunate that Carter has been adaptive in Pittsburgh thus far. Silly’s favorite trait among players is versatility and Carter can slide in wherever. I wonder why that is? Team/play style fit? Does it come down to the individual?

I think in general just due to advancements in health and fitness/conditioning, hockey players are able to have longer careers and the level of decline won't always be as steep as it was, but obviously each individual player will be different for various reasons.

Went to a San Diego Gulls game last night. AHL hockey might be grungier than NCAA hockey. I was impressed

Isn’t Carter sliding in wherever part of the issue in Philly?

Man you’re lucky. I wish the local team here was in the AHL. I can’t watch ECHL play. It’s glorified beer league hockey.

I also live super close to the stadium, like an eight minute drive. It was fun! I got there pretty late due to a stupid Thailand time call that barely had anything to do with our office but it gave me nostalgia of going to games at ND. Same general brand of hockey. One of the top pairing D men for the visiting team also played for ND while I was there, so that was fun. Got the second star.

They need to take deals for between 4 and 5 million to stay .We still need a couple of real DMEN not puck movers and a backup goalie. If they do not take salaries stated above then goodbye. I owe you nothing and you owe me nothing. What do you think of that Buffalo Boy?

Yeah that’s awesome. Before work from home I literally parked in the arena lot. Just can’t do ECHL hockey. Went to plenty of Florida Everblades games as a kid but as a knowledgeable adult fan it’s just poop hockey.

We would take trips as kids to go see the Johnstown Chiefs and I always thought it was fun. A few years back I went to a Wheeling Nailers game and was blown away by how bad it was. It was like two skilled guys trying to play between fights. It sucked.

I live pretty close to Hershey. I’ve been pretty lucky to scout out the A and see who’s who and what’s what. It’s pretty cool to see the “auditioning” if you will. When I lived in Illinois we had the Prairie Thunder of the IHL. Saw (frank)ing Smolinski as a Port Huron Icehawk and a Flint General😂😂😂

Yep exactly my experience. Thought they were awesome as a kid and they were the reason we got ice rinks. Even got to attend their inaugural home game. Then went to a game once when I was visiting home from college and it was horrible.

My aunt goes to Grand Rapids games all the time and knows the equipment manager. My 12 year old cousin got used and signed Bertuzzi and Tatar gloves for Christmas.

Kinda like a stupid comedy you thought was the funniest movie ever in middle school. Not meant to be revisited as an adult, just savor and preserve the memory.

Or he simply might just have one destination in mind.
- Feds91Stammer

Maybe if he was about spent and the Pens were poop.
