Tough going with covid cancellations and losing Shwartz and Turbo to boot. 4-3 loss to Colorado while a loss, least they were in it and made a game of it. Hipefully can get back on track and rolling.
Covid sucks. Thats all I can say there.
As for the trade I dont mind anybof the three going save maybe Geekie as think he could be one to get even better. That said it would ne a hell of an upgrade on the back end for the team there. I’m just not sure it is a Francis move. He seems to be going young and stingy on the cap to build up. |

Sean do you really think Klingberg would sign a long term deal in Seattle? He’s 29, Seattles a ways from being a contender, sorry to say that but it sure looks that way. |

Income means more than winning to some. Why else did Gio stay in Calgary so long? |

Grubauer signed a long term deal in Seattle as did Larsson and Oleksiak who are both 29. There is a long list of UFA signings with teams that are not very good. Stability and pay are big factors for players.

Agree here. Plus they have the financial and also roster room to make him a big part of things. I don’t think they are that far off. Most nights they contend but are their own worst enemies. I think in a year or two a lot of that will settle and the depth will be better too.
LA tonight here and Driedger starting. |

Loved the intro tonight. 1st of 6 at home. Hoping to win vs LA. Driedger in vs Petersen for LA.
Here we go |
|

Dreidger looking good early. Team clearing it out helping and counter attacked well. So far so good early on here tonight. Like their energy and focus so far
Aaaaand bad rebound bounce and Kempe nets it. Just couldnt get it out and got in trouble 😖😖😖 |

Blackwell finally busted on a tripping and late period Kings powerplay. Gotten away with a few but that one ends up getting whistled on. Least only just over a minute to go.
Donskoi a nice deflection there.
Aaaand they hold on to escape the 1st down 1-0. Not a bad period. Some decent chances but nothing really connecting. At least LA was held in check.

2-0 LA banged in rebound goal and then Seattle stoned on a great chance the other end.
Tired and hemmed in now. And thankfully Appleton got it out and they get a change.
Big chance here now 4min highsticking penalty and kraken to the PP
Johansson!!! Finds the Gio tipped point shot rebound and nets it!!! 2-1 Kraken right back in this one!!! BIG pp goal for Jojo!!
And right back on the PP. LA called delay of game with puck over the glass!! Lets go Kraken!! Tie this thing up |
