They lose tonight that’s pretty much the nail in the coffin as far as I’m concerned.

I feel like you've been saying that for a while.

I think they will win tonight for some reason.

First time believe it or not. I did say they probably won’t make the playoffs though. Tough hill to climb.

I thought Detroit wasn’t good but now realize they are 12-9-3 which surprised me. I either want these guys to get their sh!t together now and make a big push or sh!t the bed and give us an opportunity for a top 5 pick. Nothing in the middle.

Agreed but I think there’s a better chance we wind up somewhere in the middle

I say that because they’ll probably push when we’re already out of it…

Hahah yup. And I think upstate mentioned the other day we really don’t have much we could move for picks at this point. Im gonna maintain my optimism through tomorrow night. These two games between Wings and Hawks are almost must win for me. If we can string some wins together I think we’ll be ok. Otherwise bring on the tank.

Not to be a Debbie Downer ... but they are almost out of it now. For years the second wild card team got somewhere between 95-100 points (in a full season). Most years closer to 100. For the Isles to get to 98 points they would have to go 42-21-1. Is it possible? Sure. They play the majority of the remaining games at home (not that it's helped them so far) and they could turn it around. Is it likely? Absolutely not.

The hope that I maintain comes from the fact that they’ve only played 18 games, which is three games less than phi and cbj and six less than the caps. They need to win now. Otherwise it’s over.

Get rid of Bailey. I really want to see him win a cup the guy deserves it.

Oh I know that’s why I said they probably won’t make it. I’m saying start playing good when we don’t want them too because we’re the Islanders and that’s an Islander thing to do. If we don’t make the playoffs, which is almost certain, I hope it’s cataclysmic. If we got a player like Wright it would be franchise changing.

He never should've went after Erne. It was a clean hit.

I'm not a fan of A.J. but she is so much better than Micheletti.

I tried being positive but this team is stale as the odor in the a Nursing Home. This no life. No fight. The teams in the last three years played with a freakin chip. We cannot even get cookie crumbs.
