that's our pizza here. this whole stupid country thinks pizza is what they're getting at pizza hut and domino's, when their streets are lined with small, authentic pizza places making real pizza that they refuse to try because they aren't pizza hut or domino's. - kicksave856
yeah for pizza it's the same situation here as well. come to think of it, the best food is virtually never found in heavily commercialized restaurants. bunch of peasants. |

1/ there is no bounce back from this mess.
2/ they now have the worst record in franchise history after 22 games... record breaking season - Mashadar
it's very, very bad indeed. which is why there's a huge potential for them to create a contrast next year with what's happening this season, even if they miss they miss the playoffs by a few points it'll be considered as a "bounceback" lol |

People are cheap and want cheap food.
Taste is secondary... If it is good enough, that is all that matters. |

Yeah, maybe they have 6 or 7 wins by this time next year. Lol.
Wonder who gets more points this year - Habs team from wins and loser points or a Habs player from goals and assists.
Gonna be a close race. |

I'm just hoping that there are a few competent people that are helping out Molson to decide who should be the next GM, as much as he loves his team or whatever he might not be the most qualified person in terms of taking important hockey decisions.

it's my fall back beer for any occasion. any beer snob will drink it, yet it's pretty easy to get into if you're just some numbskull bud light drinker who doesn't know any better yet.
i stocked the ginger bread house (i'll explain later) with it and have been drinking a ton of it since saturday. it's just a good solid pale ale. |

it actually is kind of like that.
when the fam comes home from florida for the holidays, this is the house they stay in and we have holiday parties non-stop from now until new years. some of these people are in their 70s and i can't keep up with them drinking. it's a pretty amazing family i got lucky to be born into. |

I know many in here basically consider him as the dumbest human being ever, but Bergevin wasn't a turrible choice for a GM imho... anyway after all these years Savard is probably now too disconnected from the realities of today's NHL, Molson needs guys that have more recent experience to give him quality advice. |

MB is a likeable guy. he's good at trades.
but that's it. not good enough. the proof has been made.
a GM who keeps Timmins around needs to be fired. for that alone.
a GM who cannot find a #1C and build a team able to score... after 10 years... same thing.
un chum c't'un chum. |

The real problem with MB is he is not a visionary, he cannot seem to plan/think beyond the immediate. His instinct is all about now. He is too invested in the players he has on the ice to make decisions that is best for the team.
You see it in his drafting, his free agents, and most of his trades.
And that is why he is 100% incapable of tanking.
You really need a GM that has the ability to manage assets for the long-term, but also address issues on the current roster not at the expense of those long-term goals.
MB will never be that guy. |

oh I agree with both of you in the sense that the habs do need a change. I don't know how much influence he directly had over decisions concerning development and drafting but he might've had more success had he been surrounded by more competent people, who knows lol |

of course MB would have been better with a better scout. but that's on him!! he decided to keep him, and he'll sink with him. |
