The 1st line and Neddy carried the game! But the Wings got 2 goals from the other lines that put the game over the top! Neddy made up for the porous defense, but I am still glad Dekeyser had to sit out this one. Danny always seems to have such obvious goofs. Bert had a brilliant game! I am always surprised by his passing ability that "Threads the needle".

Bert cracks me up. Like a bull out there. Not a “smooth” skater but good grief he gets things going

To me this game has probably cemented Nedeljkovic as their goalie of the future. He has more athletic ability than any goalie we've seen in Detroit since probably Hasek. In fact... some of his saves tonight reminded me of Hasek.

Agree on Kudos for Suter. Erne's game winner would not have happened if Suter didn't screen the Blues' goalie. Their goalie had no idea where that puck was coming from. Wings gotta start getting more traffic in front of the net like that.

One of the biggest issues this team has is playing with a lead... especially on the road. They were lucky to have won this game. They got outplayed by St. Louis handily in the 2nd and 3rd period.

Solid game, but really highlighted the need for a comprehensive D-plan. Stecher is sorely missed and this is a wholly better team with DK out of the line-up. Suter is really progressing; I paid particular attention to him; seemed he's working on a more holistic game v just shooting/passing/scoring, had some nice poke & fore checking going on. Zadina's frustrated but had some really good looks at the pipes. Veleno is starting to d-up more as well. And therin lies the problem; the d-line is so porous that our forwards are having to play d for SOME of them. That bodes ill for the future. Ned's a beast. Full stop.

Jeremy, do whatever you need in order to find your Zen-place, brother. I dislike how badly you're feeling, and sending prayers & vibes for peace & healing.

Ned seems to understand the situation (as Greiss has) and has really embraced what’s going on. Hoping he and the D can get really tight as things develop so he’s not getting shelled. What a fantastic addition

We all appreciate your consistent efforts, and I hope you find a resolution to help work through what you are going through. Get better and keep your head up Jeremy, a lot of us will have you in our thoughts.

Game wasn't amazing, but Ned was. We probably don't win if he hadn't made so many brilliant saves and kept us in it all night.

Raymond continues to impress, eager to see what we are looking like with Vrana back, hopefully Zadina figures something out and can put the puck in, he's getting his chances, nothing is going in for him.

A healthy Larkin may break 70 points this season, at this rate. He's playing confident and keeps creating chances, been looking good so far also.

I still don't think we finish bottom 5 this season, maybe more in the 7 to 12 range. It's not great for a draft pick, but it's assuring for the future and seeing things develop and come together.

Keep it going boys, LGW!

Thanks for all of that. The top line actually feels like a top line. That’s been such a push forward. Other pieces are figuring things out, but that oddity of Vrana being out and Raymond’s making the team really turned out to be a Godsend. Vrana could do so much for the second line once healthy. Possibly help Zadina find his confidence as well

I really hope things get better for you Jeremy.

Ned really looks like he has taken over the starting job. He did have some rough games at the start but has settled down and is giving the team a really good chance to win every time he's in net. Early on his passing/puck handling was off with the defense but now they seem to know each other better on what to do or where to go when he handles the puck.

Was nice to see the defense without DeKeyser and Staal in the lineup. I much prefer to see Oesterle in the lineup over those two. Renouf was ok. They need another guy that make passes like Seider on the back end though.

The offense still relies too much on the top line. Nice to see other lines chipping in some offense but they need to do that more consistently.

Wings as a whole need to be much much better on the road. They are really bad when not on home ice...to the point where they look like the team of years past when they were the worst team in the league.
