how much are you guys getting paid anyway..?

it really is amazing that this guy still has a website. if he's stumbled onto any other get rich quick scheme and started a website on the subject he'd be back working some poop job and playing in a bad folk band by now. but hockey fans like to talk hockey so they keep coming back.

and the rest of us were in the middle of a conversation when the site took a dump, so we come back too. he stepped in poop that happened to be a goldmine.

i dunno. it's clear that he has not invested a penny more than whatever was necessary to keep the site from crashing offline. but no matter what he ended up bilking from this site, he missed a massive opportunity 10-15 years ago to make this site THE digital content hub for NHL fans.

i would pay you any amount of money to ref my site.

i told him once that if he's just started off with "look guys, i don't know a ton about the sport but i do watch it and this lockout sucks. i'm gonna start this website and try to get some sources and we'll all learn and grow together" all the site users would have been on his side and we'd have thought it was really cool, instead of what this has all turned out to be for him and his reputation.

he banned me. lol

yeah I know, but I wish we could do it just out of principle, the habs thread is among the busiest ones if I'm not mistaken.

and yeah it really sucks, it's not like having this site run properly would cost millions of dollars.

If you add up the base salary with the bonus for X number of bans or actions taken moderating the site, the christmas bonus and the other benefits.

I believe he can make up to 0$ a year.

but maybe this site exists for like money laundering purposes. maybe he's running through like 5000 fake season tickets every month or something.

yeah, he's gonna get the clicks no matter what. that's why i say just talk to your friends on his site when it's working and try not to worry too much about that fact that he's getting rich off doing very little. he gets clicks from me even in his thread. i never read his blogs because.. well, there are so many reasons lol, but i do like reading the people destroy him in the comments.
