Bertuzzi, Ryan, Suter, Veleno, and Raymond the relevant forwards. No Larkin, Zadina, or Fabbri.

Staal, Hronek, and Seider the relevant defenseman. No Leddy, Dekeyser, or Stecher.

They were the most improved team last season points percentage wise. As long as they are on track to be a playoff team in 23/24 there’s absolutely zero pressure on Yzerman.

They called up guys they already cut too play tonight. It's almost impressive in preseason game 5 to have not a single forward dressed that has a spot nailed down. Even ERod isn't playing.

While not an optimum lineup it sure looks better on paper than what the Pens are deploying this eve hahah

Irrelevant stat. By points percentage, they're still worse then the team he took over 2 years ago. Call them most improved when they're not a bottom 5 team.

Matheson and Ruhwedel being good together is probably the only way we avoid disaster on the blue line this year. Matherino can get bent as a second pairing.
