I'm not too worried about the bottom pair. Sandin should slot in on the left. I don't know if they will have Dermott on the right or what, but I don't think the bottom pair will be that much of an issue (it certainly won't be a strength)

The real concern will be the weakness in the top 4 if there are injuries I think. Would have loved it if the Leafs had picked up Savard for more depth, but we are where we are.

I am very worried about the bottom pair. It's been a complete tire fire for a decade loaded up with spare parts, they finally stabilized it with Bogo and the results showed. He walked and they didn't replace him, now we're back to the spare parts.

Sandin and Dermott both have their warts, they are not going to make for a sufficient third pairing on their own over the course of a full season let alone step up when injuries occur. What's next, Liljegren?
