Re-read the article in Nature again. Your point about allocation (ie. vaccinating the world) is good. Your point about being cautious with children is good. Your inference (if you meant it that way) that transmission is greater amongst the vaccinated then the unvaccinated is not.

Certainly it looks like Delta is capable of 'breakthrough' but science always warned of that b/c it's very normal in virology. In our part of the world (rightly or wrongly) we care less about new infections and more about hospitalizations.

Vaccines reduce transmission, prevent illness, and save lives. the longer we delay global vaccination the less relevant today's success becomes.
