Did a couple shots of vodka before doing the yard work today.

That’s a vaccination right?

Depends on the Vodka and where it was made. It may not be acceptable and you would need to do two more of an acceptable brand.

Sticks and walnuts! That’s quite the storm. Is the roof still in place?

Wife does as well. I like the Blue Lobster Vodka, made locally. Very smooth for an inexpensive Vodka.

Oh I already got rid of the larger branches that fell and hit the suv (thankfully because of walnuts we keep it covered)

One of the benefits of where we live is that the house is back further from the street than both the house to the left and right. Huge older trees in the front and back. I got to watch the storm outside as well since we have a covered porch. Needless to say any dangers from storms are extremely minimal where I live.

apologies - was not meaning to sound like 'speaking down to you'.
i just am very worried about vaccine acceptancy if governments push too hard on mandatory vaccines.

in addition - these vaccines are just not good enough -- we need to use several measures and not solely relying on vaccines.

it's not that 'things have to be done as always' -- the point is more that it is very important that vaccines are tested properly -- and unfortunately that takes time. you can model all you want -- still not reliable as actual trials.

lastly -- the large scale risk for kids does not exist, and again, vaccines do not prevent transmission.

Here's your article. https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-021-02187-1

Be careful what you espouse. The article, about "breakthrough cases" says the it's possible (based on early findings) that the vaccinated can carry high viral loads and therefore more easily transmit the Delta variant.

Importantly (and contrary to what you're inferring) the article does NOT say that the vaccinated can transmit more easily than the unvaccinated it says that these breakthrough figures are comparable to the viral loads you'd expect to find in the unvaccinated.

They also confirmed (like in the Maryland outbreak) that the vaccines kept people out of the hospital and saved lives.

My gf buys it so the bolded is very much so for me lol

I’ll have to get her to try the blue lobster type, she LOVES seafood so it’s name alone is likely enough to convince her when we get out to the east.

We’re even toying around with the idea of this fall btw, to see what shape the home is in. If we choose to before spring trust me you’ll be the first to know
