Can Campbell continue his incredible reg season run? I think he'll come back to earth but will be good. Just not over the top good like his numbers suggested for that 10 game stretch.

Id say the goalies are treading water, Freddy was bad last season.
its not going to be hard to be better than him, but have to assume Campbell comes back down.

Not better than which Andersen? We saw a bunch of different ones last year. We might see a much better one (somewhere else) this year. I’m not sure our goaltending will be worse than what we had on aggregate last year.

Loved Freddy for 3.5 years. But after a year and a half of Freddy's .900% it was time to go. Relative to those numbers Mrazek is bound to be an improvement.

If I were to guess what we think next summer I'd bet we'll be marginally happy with Mrazek (ie. he'll be middle of the pack) and, if he stays healthy, probably about the same for Campbell. He's bound to come back down to earth after those regular season numbers he put up.

Middle of the pack 'tending should get the Leafs far if they can score in the playoffs.

Is it costly for you to get those videos from the rink you play at?

I always thought it would be cool to see tapes of our games but they were asking for way too much for it when I asked 2 years ago.

Fair but as a goalie there is a certain amount of satisfaction in showing the guys who (generally) chirp you the most because they "scored" how slow and crappy they are! Sure you scored once, watch the video, you missed the net like 10 times and where were you on the game winning goal from the other team???? Oh there you are floating at centre while we were defending 5 vs 4 you lazy Fak.

It only took a couple emailed versions of 'game video' for my team to quiet down and know we all own the blame on most losses. lol

They are also slightly terrified I will ensure to zoom in, and slow-mo and throw in a funny sound effect on anything they do on the ice that I can get a laugh from. I have taken some nice falls, added in the old 70's Looney Tunes 'slipped on a banana peel' sound effect & added in some nice text along the lines of things like "way to go twinkle toes".

Steeves kid looks fast. Robertson playing like he wants on the big club.

Pretty good game so far.

If video editing to make Nick Cage look good surely it can help us look like pro's when we make our kids/grandkids watch our videos.

My wife played on a beer league team (cosmo league team?) and they were truly terrible. But nobody had more fun at tournaments. These women were frightening.

The partner of the captain would film the tournaments, and then he would edit it into these hilarious videos. Every year was a different theme. He was soooo damn creative.

My wife and I would watch them and piss ourselves, while our kids would just walk by, shake their heads and quietly mouth "wtf?"

My kid (about to turn 28) says he hates playing goalie with and against really bad players. He didn’t play high level competitive hockey as a kid but started playing with better players and got to play with some really good players at school the last few years. He said going back and playing with buddies and their dads who were “good in the day” just made him crazy and that he’ll quit playing goalie and play out if he hips don’t let him play at a decent level.

Definately not - if anything I make comments in the email about nobody needing to check their computer to make sure the video isn't buffering, they are really just THAT SLOW in real life.
