I was surprised he didn't sign with them again. But Tampa,,, they may smash another cup this year.

Didn't Alberta essentially "give up" a few weeks/months ago and basically say they are just gonna let Covid do it's thing?

More or less, they panicked at the last second and extended the testing/tracing for an additional 6 weeks. A lot more people than expected were not impressed that numbers were skyrocketing and their response was to sweep it under the rug. But we've been mask free/restriction free since July 1st.

By September 20th the government intends to make it so a person is only tested if a doctor at a hospital orders a test so they can diagnose a person. There won't be anymore notifying close contacts. They school boards are on their own.

Basically the UCP understands now that no one likes them, and they have two years to win their base back by pretending covid doesn't exist.

Yeah I can see that… also living in Quebec may be a pain if he doesn’t speak French (not certain he does), so a short season is one thing but a full one would be quite another
