It's always ridiculous but even more so right now, seeing that the Leafs only had 3 (frank)ing selections in the most recent draft.

Just place the 2nd round pick in and the list is the same as last year.

If you are going to do a top 40, at least go like 3-5 at a time.

Summer hits will probably stay the same, unfortunately for him.

Might be a few people coming in to say RIP to Jimmy Hayes, though.

Alberta
new cases 749
Number of tests 9,971
Population 4,472800 (2020)

that's about 75 positive per 1000 tests, and 0.0167% of the population testing positive in the last day.

Ontario
new cases 650
Number of tests 26,213
Population 14,672,900 (2020)

That's about 25 positive per 1000 tests, and 0.0043% of the population testing positive in the last day.

Drexel must be on to something. Obviously, wearing a mask has nothing to do with spreading Covid.
- winsix

I'd hold on to that thought. We're 2 or 3 weeks behind Alberta and BC in this 4th wave. In 3 weeks we could very well be around 2000 cases a day.

And if 70% of those people who are infected are vaccinated, they are very unlikely to get sick. We’re at about 66% now.

True. My point is comparing Ontario to Alberta at this point in time is misleading.

If there is another lockdown in Ontario, we will all be able to thank the anti-vaxxers and also the fully vaxxed people that think they are as invincible as Mr. Burns

Agree 100%..

Ryan Tverberg will replace Auston Matthews in a few years, when he bolts to Arizona and ends up playing in Quebec City 3 months after he signs.

That’s probably the best question I’ve seen asked on this site and I don’t have an answer.

Actually, he’s still too tender from his surgeries for my services.

Comparing case numbers is stupid. Hospitalization numbers are more likely to reflect high case levels of unvaccinated people and indicate potentially serius impacts in terms of strain on the system.

In that NHL '22 interview he did, Matthews said he didn't like the snakes in Arizona.. Maybe that will be enough to entice him to stay in Toronto.. As long as no one tells him about the Toronto Zoo, there are no large, poisonous snakes here
