If that was the case, why would people need a 3rd shot. You need 2 of the same name brand. Brother had a Pfizer + Moderna, had to get another Pfizer shot to travel.

Why? Because some people had two of the exact same (no problem) some had two of same tech different name brand (problem or no problem, that's why I asked) and yet others had two of different tech entirely (definitely a problem) and in order to rectify it the person would need to get a third dose that matched the exact name brand not simply the same tech of one of their first two doses.

It was a legitimate question pertinent to many, I'm sure, in very unclear times. Not sure why you went into immediate snark mode. In any case thanks for the clarification, safe travels and all the best to your family.

My brother went through this, not myself. He called and told them what the issue was, and they scheduled him for another shot. Easy as that.
