Buddy here at work, just had to get a refund on his cruise tix, for the same reason. My brother is going on a cruise out of Florida and had to have a 3rd shot, or second Pfizer shot, to get 2 of the same.

When you say same variety do you mean same technology (ie. Pfizer and Moderna both use mRNA tech) or do you mean same brand name? The interpretation of the word 'variety' would have different implications for different people. In either case it's very unfortunate for people who simply took the advice of taking what was available to them at the time regardless of what was available and which dose their first one was.
