Seattle and Zona will be absolutely terrible. Canucks got better and I don't think Calgary did. Edmonton is a glass Canon team and I see a full 82 game schedule and playing the whole league an issue for them as their defense is not great and goaltending is even older than last year. Smith is more likely to be bad than good. Paying assets to upgrade Koskinen could move them ahead of Vancouver. Vegas is still a powerhouse team.

As a fellow hater, I’ve always said I’d be more than happy to be wrong about where I predict the team finishes… but rarely I am wrong.

Saying that, the team’s roster is better than it was last season. I just have so little confidence in the management group and coaching staff regardless of how good the roster is.
