In 2019 - 2020 the Sabres where historically bad. This offseason they seam to have intentionally not built for 2021-2022 and will with out doubt actually be worse. Can anyone point me to when this has worked out well in the long run? Not asking for a friend.

It's one thing to not learn from the past, but the Sabres aren't even learning from the present. As our 24-25 yr old talent(s) walk away our plan so far is to be intentionally bad this year for better draft picks. Any talent we have now is going to want out as well. Not asking for playoffs but you need to roster a competitive team.
