Just a reminder, Before being hired as Seattle's first GM Francis had very little experience In NHL management and he wasn't very good at It, Just saying. So just a couple days after the Kraken franchise Is launched Francis Is already looking for trouble by Inquiring about Jack Dark Cloud Eichel.

Seattle is not trading the second overall.

Return aside, its too good a moment for the franchise, to have them step up to that podium and announce the first pick in franchise history.

So Vitek Vanecek is going to knock Adams off the fence and he'll do this deal?

C'mon, Ek.

Is Eichel even able to play? Let’s give up our entire foreseeable future for a guy with a jacked up neck who might never be able to turn his head again let alone play hockey. That would make Holland look like a genius.

Price is on the down side with a terrible contract, Eichel has upside w a fair contract. Not even remotely comparable scenarios
- DanielEtvs

Eichel has injury issues.

Two lottery-type entry picks are way, way more valuable than an expansion pick.

IMO opinion Seattle should stay away from BOTH.

How about:

2021 1st
2021 3rd
2022 1st
Vince Dunn (signed)

We then swap pics with Columbus for Korpisalo

Eichel is 9 years younger so not really comparable.

Seattle would be foolish to trade multiple lottery picks for a player with injury problems.

If Eichel was 100% healthy and just wanted out, it might be a different story. But that is not the case.

Seattle needs to build up the player pool, not gamble it away.
Why do you think they passed on Tarasenko?

So since Ek never answered my question, do you guys think its a safe assumption that #2oa and a 2022 1st was never actually discussed, and this was simply Ek's idea of fair value for Eichel? Ronnee Frances is dumb, but not this dumb right?

Well if he can’t play ltir can buy some time to heal & if he makes a 90% recovery, he could be a good flip just like Montreal did with montour.

I don’t know, dude… that’s a high price to pay for a guy who you probably have to flip. Why rush it. Wait to see if he can dress himself before you mortgage your future.

I didn't say Seattle should make this trade but comparing Price to Eichel is a braindead comparison of zero relevance.

Seattle would not use up an expansion pick to take Price, but they are willing to spend two ENTRY-draft picks to take Eichel?

Idk appears Adams might have benefitted from Fletcher on a Risto trade so maybe there is hope.

Are you asking whether it makes sense for Seattle to trade #2 OA, plus next year's 1st which will be a heavy lotto favourite...for Eichel.

Can you clarify whether that is your own trade idea or whether actual sources are saying this? Ronnee Frances should be fired on the spot for even considering that.

- Kooleus
get eichel and sign landy, thats a playoff team.
