They're really gonna pass on Vince Dunn just to get a middling pick from the Flyers AND eat the rest of Jake's contract, too?
Common. - Tomahawk
the pick we lose better not be a 1st

Do you have a source for this? |

Fletcher will be making more moves.
He brought in Niskanen and Braun because he knew the defense needed help. Last season he played the waiting game due to the salary cap and upcoming expansion draft.
Now that the expansion draft is here, Fletcher is starting to get moving. Ellis was just step one.
Another vet to play with Sanheim makes sense. Then slowly break in younger defensemen like York, Zamula, etc, on the 3rd pair. - Captain_Ahab
When York and Z are in full time, we will have to get rid of one of our D. Most likely Sanheim

Yes, because Seattle is really working in the best interest of the Flyers, didn't you know that? |

Eichel to the Rangers would be very bad for the Flyers. - hello it's me 2050
Not so sure it would hurt Flyers. Get him then they wont be able to keep Zibanejad..Quite homestly I would rather have Zib and the assets they will give up to get Eichel then Eichel. I think it would be a bad move for the RAGS....They need a 2C and a 3rd pair vet defenseman and they are loaded with young talent at every position. |

Braun only has 1 year left, so if Zamula pans out he will slot into the bottom pairing full time after this season. |

Same thing we said about Myers and Morin a couple of years ago...York and Z are just prospects at this point no guarantees at all |

Braun is a righty. Unless we want to start mixing and matching, but i thought that's why we got ellis and looking at Larsson. Could flip Sanheim for a righty maybe. Attard is a righty whenever he is ready.

Eichel to the Rangers would be very bad for the Flyers. - hello it's me 2050
How does this hurt the Flyers? The Rangers will have to give up multiple assets to obtain Eichel and then have to absorb his cap hit over $10M+ for multiple years, which will hamstring them to some extent from making other deals. Plus I don't think Eichel is a winner and worth the money, so I say ... Go Rangers, get Eichel! |

Ideally you want RHS-LHS for all 3 pairs, but given your bottom pair is only playing about 12 minutes a game, its not as important IMO. |

No guarantees at all, but sooner or later you have to count on them stepping up, or if not you trade them.

Totally agree and they wont be able to afford Zib if they do this. They are loaded with talented young prospects all they need is a better 2C and a 3rd pair vet D man and watch out. They dont need Eichel |

It's going to be really entertaining the next couple days when Fletcher pushes all of his chips into the middle with King / Jack off-suit. |

Not really. They still cannot keep the puck out of there own net. Also, Eichel will be 30 at some point.

Being thinking Larson would be a good add, big, physical, and can play big minutes in a top 4. Would only offer a 3 or 4 year deal.

But Patrick indicated Monday he was dealing with concussion symptoms while sitting out.
“Injuries are part of the game, and my concussion was obviously the tough one keeping me out that long,” Patrick said. “It was pretty scary times, but happy to be healthy now.” - hello it's me 2050
And the truth shall set you free. You know nopa and philly would’ve gotten a lot less flak if they would’ve said he had concussion. Like I said from day 1 migraines my ass. They HAD to be from head trauma. With what we know of concussions it would’ve been better to just fess up to the concussions from the beginning. |

Not me take Eichel over him. Zib will want an 8 year deal. They have the assets in spades to make it happen without really crippling their organization.
