Nice win. Jarry is the best goalie we need to go deep. To me, Caps look like they can't solve a pressure defense with speed on the transition.

Great win. 1st place and some non playoff teams to finish the season. If Geno comes back against Philly and Tanev returns sometime before the 1st playoff game, this team will be ready to go.

It depends on what he would get contract wise. I wonder if Chicago would take Petts for him, given that Petts contract is already in stone. He definitely seems like the type of guy Hextall and Burke like.

Haha I wouldn’t say terrible but I’d say he’s a 3rd pair guy for sure who could fill in on a 2nd pairing if needed. Whoever signs him will be overpaying him and therefor overplaying him though.

The Pens have done more with far less players in their lineup this season against good opponents. Aside from a few pushbacks, the Caps just looked pretty flat in last night’s game. I would take the win with no asterisk. I just would expect the Caps to find their second gear come the playoffs.

My only hope is Sid is able to find his second wind. He just looks exhausted.

At this point I think the Pens are on a collision course to face the Bruins in the first round. The Isles have an easier schedule than the Bruins, so unless the Pens poop the bed in these last four games, I think we’re seeing the final standings right now.

Wilson is dirty. Ovie can pull some poop here and there, but overall they're not really that dirty. They just physically compete hard.

And responding to the other poster, Philly really isn't dirty anymore and haven't been for while. They're a pretty soft team.

I hope we get the next Wilson/Cooke type. I like being on the giving end better lol

I think at this point in Ovechkin’s career, I get pissed at Oshi more often than Ovi. Ovi doesn’t really board guys anymore like he used to.
