Hey what’s up?? Islanders are playing great. Who I would have traded... Bailey horrendous year think he had two good years in him. Technically dropping him on the southern state would be fine.

Scott Mayfield he annoys me at times. He seems to have a hard time clearing zones

All in all, I'd say Lou did his job. Now it's up to Trotz and the players to figure the rest out. Isles needed someone to make up for Lee's production, someone to solve the revolving-door third line LW spot, and bonus if they could add some depth on D. Lou brought in Palmieri, Zajak, and Coburn.

Hell of a deadline, and while a surprise would have been nice today, who knows if one move too many would have thrown off the chemistry. At least we're not all looking up who the hell Sebastian Collberg is!

So who plays with Barzal and Ebs? I don't think Zajac is the answer. Maybe Beau? I love Palmieri, very similar to Pags, even does the same outside to inside move 1V1. But we really didn't replace Lee with a true top line LW. A little disappointed. We are definitely better than we were a week ago but not sure as good as we were when Lee was healthy.

I actually liked Zajac there I think trotz gives him a little more time in that spot. As far as Beau going there I’m fine with that I thought Beau, Barzal, and Ebs were pretty dynamic for a period when they were together last season and previous. We now have the horses to do that and still be able to spread out the scoring.

Lou Lamoriello says Braydon Coburn is driving to NY from Ottawa. Will have to satisfy NY quarantine rules. So at least 4-days, per Lou, before Coburn is available.

Also says Golyshev is headed to North America soon and will head to Bridgeport (AHL) to start.

There wasn't really a "top line LW" available though. Hall would have been in most years but he's all of 2 goals on the season. Outside of that, Palmieri was probably the next best winger out there and he definitely fits what this team thrives on a lot more than Hall does.

I think it was pretty obvious that we weren't taking on anyone with term unless money went out the door and clearly everyone else thinks of Komarov the same way we do here

I think either guy would be good on top line. Zajak makes sense b/c he is very good on Face-offs and Barzal seems to get chased every time he attempts to take one. Anyone is better than having Leo taking these face offs.

I like that 3rd line of Whalstrom/JGP/Palmieri a lot too..
