This sht is so fken absurd at this point. what ever happened to "free country" .. my kid had his first football game ever and I went to see it.. I was outside and there wasn't anyone within 50 yards of me and I was told to leave b/c only fans of the home team were allowed b/c of social distancing. .... this all started with 2 weeks to "flatten the curve" .. it's been a fken year. people have had the virus and have the anti-bodies (me)... and others have been vaccinated.. how about make believe this is a free fken country and let them make their own decisions.. this virus has a 99% survival rate. It's even higher is you aren't 75 years old or sick... sick of this sht.

Every district is different. Went to my sons football game yesterday away and had no problems. For home games each kid gets two passes to give to family.

Really, as in not even last summer or fall? My girls played soccer outdoors last July-Sept w masks, then without masks until November. Then played indoors w masks until a month ago. And that’s NY.

I can’t speak for the rest of the nation, but nothing has been allowed in my area since the poop show began. That might change depending on vaccination success, but I won’t hold my breathe. Alberta is still struggling to vaccinate its elderly population, let alone the youth.

Oddly enough the States here that locked down have no less infectious rate then the States that broke away from CDC lockdown recommendations.
Now there telling people after vaccination they need to still wear masks and socially distance. WTF are we getting vaccinated for.

Well you CAN still contract the virus post vaccination. But the likelihood of a vaccinated positive requiring hospitalization is significantly less than a non vaccinated positive.

Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are 95 to 98% effective. Reinfection is possible but rare and as you said are mild cases. No need to mask and social distant post vaccine imho.

Some say you can still spread it post vaccination and some don’t. I will say I’ve worked in healthcare most of my life. I still do. The one thing I can tell you is nobody knows what the (frank) they’re talking about least of all anyone who is doing most of the talking.
