They need a reset from top to bottom. Need to bring in someone to take over as President. Pegulas set a budget and sit back and relax. And they need to reset there core, it breeds losing. And a coach that can adapt, Ralph is not the right one. And bring your new coach in know and set your vision of what you want to run and see if these players can play that. |

Okay Kevyn Adams, enough is enough. The Pegulas said you were in charge so if you are not going to fire Krueger then you need to step down. This is the worst case of mutiny that I have ever seen. The team not only refuses to win a game, now they refuse to score a goal. Do we have to watch them lose every single game this season? Then all the talent is going to leave and no one will come to Buffalo. That is the most unfair thing I have ever seen. You are a cruel son of a beeoch doing this to all the fans and you will go down in history as the worst GM in the history of sports. WTF is wrong with you? Really. Do you have any pride. What an absolute awful person to make all these loyal fans go thru this. You should be ashamed of yourself. |

If Kruger is fired that means 5 coaches in 6 years for Eichel. Who's the real problem?
Am I missing something? Eichel has had 3 head coaches, so far, have been Dan Byslma, Phil Housley and Ralph Krueger. 3 coaches. Has Dan Byslma and Phil Housley gone elsewhere and become a great coach? I'll save you the effort of looking. The answer is no.
Unfortunately they keep putting coaches in a position of proving the Peter Principle - "every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence." Perhaps these coaches were good assistant coaches or good short-term international competition head coaches, but they do not have the skill set or experience to be successful in a for the long haul NHL head coaching position.
Eichel is NOT the issue. Get a Head Coach in here that will use the offensive talent that's on the team. That is their current strength (well it would be if Eichel and Dylan Cozens weren't out with injuries and it they used Dahlin as a forward).

Here is where fitz proposed the bet for a drink. https://www.hockeybuzz.co...?thread_id=151107&page=21
Here is where fitz went off about how it would be impossible that we could’ve bet on a drink and how she “knew” the terms of the bet. https://www.hockeybuzz.co...?thread_id=166737&page=28
Now, fitz won’t own it because the burden of proof is on me. All hail fitz, she can do no wrong, always admits when she is wrong, and every other poster here is out to get her and she is justified on all counts.
Impossible to make this poop up. |

So Krueger and Smith are gone.
Now its time to play the young players.
With Cozens and Eichel out, why not try:
Dahlen at Center with Hall and Thompson
Middlestadt with Skinner and Reinhardt
Staal with Oloffson and Quinn
Reider with Sheahan and Lazar
Play Davidson with Risto
Bryson with Montador
Miller and Jokiharu
Run all 4 lines in first period and then bench the worst line in the second and run 3 lines, then bench the worst player off the three lines and insert your most talented player in the third player.......create internal competition for ice time

Buffalo in full tank mode or is just a biblical train wreck. So hard to tell...
Regardless, the starting point is to bring in an established and successful NHL coach. |

Gallant wouldn’t be a good choice for the make up this team. Unless we are really moving on from Eichel and the rest of the core I wouldn’t really want to add Gallant. The roster has more of a Boudreau feel to it but again that can all change in the summer or even by the trade deadline. |

You lost me when you suggested Dahlin play centre. I mean, you do know Dahlin is a defenseman, right?
