Most likely going with Varlamov but trotz has made some surprising decisions over the years. He pulled Holtby out in one of the rounds the year the caps won the cup from what I remember which was a little shocking but they did win the cup... Don’t think there is really a bad decision between the two. That is until it goes bad of course

Pretty crazy when you look at those numbers and watch the games because he’ll make 5 or 8 saves a game that are pretty spectacular. He has single handily held them in a couple of games imo but seems to break down in the third. Pays homage to how well we’re playing...

The metro very well may have the best goalies for years to come w Hart, shestyorkin and hopefully Sorokin. May have missed a couple others.

Agreed I stated the same thing after game 1 against the Flyers. May very well have the three best tenders in the league within this division with Sorokin being the best in the league.

Save percentage tends to be an overrated stat in short stretches. He's been stellar through the playoffs and regular season. They'll need to earn everything they get against him

Ok lets hope they come out focused and play their game and shut this team down.

So long as the Islanders make the playoffs, then I say (frank) the rest.
