If Sam wants 7m or more they need to trade him
Jack will probably get mad but we can't be wasting that kind of money on a winger that's not elite |

The draft is deep we will end up with a superstar at 7th Holtz,Raymond ,Rossi
Lundell is a safe pick don't think he will be a super star but a good player like Mikko Koivu or at worst Pahlsson |

Not saying he’s worth 7+ but with with over 34 million in cap space going into the offseason I would be more worried about retaining good players than I would be the dollars they make.
Only 4 UFA wingers put up over 40 puts this year, not saying buffalo won’t nab one of them but given the supply and demand it’s unlikely. So would you rather overpay a top six 24 yo winger or sign a third liner for peanuts to play with eichel. Your team isn’t going to get better by getting rid of their 3rd best player and replacing him with a scrub |

I have liked Lundell for awhile, but the more I read that his skating isn't top notch it bothers me a little, we have that with Sam and Mitts already. But it is also said he compares to Bergeron, so kinda hard to judge. Starting to like Holtz at 7 if he's there. |

Nice post Mike, it seems that this draft is pretty loaded in the top 10, should be able to get a pretty decent player depending if we are at 3 or 7 |

If he's the last resort then you have to take him ..
Hes just going going to be a player that does his job right but I hate his scoring ability but a very very very safe pick
I'm hoping botts doesn't take that route at all I want a superstar |

They are gonna get a good player, just have to see how the draft falls. |

See, that assumes that the only place you can do a physical is at a football facility. I would not assume that they could not get physicals elsewhere. Unless, of course, there is magic at football facilities that cannot be replicated anywhere. - TC4145
Yeah, a doctor and a player couldn't possibly meet at the player's home, the doctor's home or office, a hotel, a bordello etc... And if the doc thinks a player needs imaging other than an x-ray, then they just go to an imaging place. |

Well obviously teams want there people around when the physical is given, especially when a player is coming of a injury. I think a football physical is probably a little bit different then you or me would get. |

Really would like a shot at #2 overall. Byfield would be such a great addition to this team. |

Doesn't sound like we will get that chance, even if we won the lottery. |

My style comparison for players we might target ..
Lucas Raymond - Mitch Marner
Alexander Holtz - Brock Boeser
Anton Lundell- Mikko Koivu
Jack Quinn- Pasternak
Marco Rossi- Crosby ( some say Brad Marchand)
Cole Perfetti -RNH
Yaroslav Askarov -Carey Price

How exactly? And what kind of special equipment do they have at the team facility that can't be gotten outside of it? It's nonsense. They can still do physicals. Do you think the entire coaching staff and front office are in the room? I'd be willing to bet it's just the doc and the player. |

Who knows, have you ever seen a football physical done, I haven't I have no idea what they do. Wouldn't be surprised if the head trainer is involved in some way. |

So, charter a plane, these are hugely profitable businesses, I find it extremely hard to believe they couldn't get a physical done if they wanted to do one. |

As recent history would show, selecting in this range is always rather awkward. You’re probably not getting a top 5 talent, and you’re probably not getting the kind of NHL talent in a trade that would make it worth your while to trade out of the first round entirely.
In other words, Botterill has Botterilled himself into another corner.
That pairs nicely with our lack of 3rd round picks for the next two years and our disaster of a roster. Save us slenderman, tage Thompson!
He even sucks at sucking |

Well they probably could, but they weren't even allowed to do pro days or meet face to face with Draft prospects. Obviously the NFL is shut down in that aspect. All you have to do is watch any NFL show and they will tell you the same thing. |

Your hate just bleeds Botts. I would get used to him for atleast another year, cause he probably isn't going anywhere |

Right, because teams never bend the rules. Pro days and player interviews have tons of people at them, more so the interviews where everyone crams into a tiny room; they're trying to avoid large groups of people, not a doctor and a player. |

Get back from my from office on Eve of the schedule release and NFL Network showing a Dallas/Vikes game from Nov. I mean come on. Last Jedi on Disney Plus. Family was watching it and figured wth. Found out Rey’s last name is Palpatine and Emperor is still alive despite getting dropped down some intergalactic hole by Vader. These sequels are worse than the prequels and the prequels were terrible, with exception of Darth Maul’s last battle and death, which was greatest in the franchise. There is no better way to kill a villain than to have them fall to their death. Think about it. Hans from Die Hard and who could ever forget about Mola Ram from Temple of Doom? Absolute classic. George Lucas had a fascination with killing villains by falling and Ill say Darth Maul was the GOAT in movie history. |
