I don't think he makes it to 9 .If he did ,the HAWKS will have the draft day steal . - oldduffman
If he makes it to the Hawks spot, someone below them will have a draft day steal.

Isn't being inside the cure? - mohel
Isolated maybe, inside....nyet.
Airplanes always get a bad rap for the recycled air, but the truth is that the refresh rate on new air coming in is much higher on an airplane than it is in your average home or office. Especially in the winter. Stale air isn’t a good thing, even when there isn’t a pandemic on.
Putting a couple of thousand potentially sick people in a tight building with poor ventilation is never going to be healthy. |

Mmmmmm.
Last year I brought a fresh, whole King Salmon home from Seattle. Made gravlax with half of it. Smoked the other half. Amazing.
On a related note...my dill is starting to poke up in the garden. |

The models included mitigation. Still nowhere near the mark. The models got outside the 95% cone of certainty with a few days after the prediction.
42 states have fewer than 100 deaths per million. Six states have had more deaths that their 10 year average flu season. Six. The impact in the vast majority of the country has been far smaller than early (and more recent) dire predictions. Shutting the economy in those states has much negative impact on the health (psychological, financial and physical), and is serious overkill, imo.
Glad you're well, Sage. - mohel
I really don't know what this means. All i know is when i do my own math, i looked up 10 states, the death rate is consistent 2 to 5% rate, leaning towards 5%.
I have a math assignment for you, let's say only 10% of Americans get it, and conservatively 2.5% of the people die from it. The Governors are not reporting this but actuary scientists are giving them numbers like this that's why they are shutting everything down. I mean that's only 10%. Imagine if it's more

It means that in 42 states, fewer than 1 of every 10,000 people has died from Ebola.....I mean Covid-19.

Didn’t Lankinen kick ass at the WJC? Why no excitement for him? - Ogilthorpe2
I believe you meant to say The World Championship, not the WJC
Laakinen is not as dramatic perhaps not as athletic as Delia. Both figure to learn how to ber effective back ups and their NHL career may open up.next season. At this time some folks may speculate if Laakinen is better suited for a back up role even as a career back up. But that is more based on his demeanor - as aforementioned is speculative - so both will hopefully be given fair opportunity to prove themselves in training camp
FYI: you may enjoy the over one hour U Tube Air Force Academy Graduation.. The ceremony is touching. It is the first graduating class to enter the Outer Space frontier. My friend's son is a graduate. Proud to be a .mud turtle supporter as friends and family have and continue to be. He is training specificly to be a pilot |

Think that was the Worlds . And yes he played very well . He not a 17 year old ,and his body of work does not indicate that he will play that well over a sustained period of time . |

World Championships indeed.
8 games,1.50, .942, 2 shutouts.
I think it suggests that when surrounded by other good players (not the IceHogs) he’s capable of playing at a very high level.
Bonus=not Russian. |

No.
You and everybody else has to stop the "bleeding" by staying the frank home, getting a grip on the seriousness of this, so far no one is monitoring contacts ( I write down each place I go) and to take any other stand just prolongs this problem and the economy and jobs are affected for a much longer term.
The answer was a quick action and supporting the socialist ideals of roads, libraries andfunding the research that can help us combat these things b/c they are not going away. - wiz1901
I and everyone else has been staying home and the bleeding is slowly stopping. Notice how I’ve been saying “In 1-3 months depending on city/county”. I’m not talking about going back out tomorrow to gather in large groups. When it’s all said and done the “seriousness” of this may very well end up being the same as the common flu(when you look at the deaths). |

Yes never seen a goalie come out of no were and have a hot streak before ,then cool off in a long regular season or Playoffs . Hey I am rooting for him .As I have said I do not expect Askarov to be available at 9th . Lankinen is a good looking prospect ,but comparing him to Askarov is a reach .. IMHO |

Not even close to the master, but we need to all loosen up a bit, this too shall pass. Hopefully one day soon I’ll be able to take my grandson to a game. Here’s my $.02, if your immune system is low, stay home, if your immune system is good and you don’t have somebody at home with a low immune system, then wear a mask and practice social distancing while out.
