1976 playoffs. Leafs 8 flyers 5. Sittler 5 goals.
185 PIM in the game. A classic.

1979 First round, 2 out of 3 series between Leafs and Atlanta Flames. Both games.

Bruins - Canucks Game 7

I worked at the state house of Massachusetts as an intern that summer. I was 20 and my sister worked for the state and her office was around the corner. Everyone in the office knew I was a huge bruins fan so they let me leave early that day. I think it was a Wednesday. I met up with her around 3 and we went to a bar right near the garden and I was able to get in with my fake ID and we scored a table for the whole night. What a night.

Then the next fall, when they raised the banner, I came up for the game. They called me the week before and said come swing by we have the Stanley Cup at the state house. That was the first time I saw the cup and got a great picture with it.

I hear they are hard to light.

With no hockey my stress levels are way down. Even this virus doesn’t stress me out as much as the leafs do.

The leafs are at least partly responsible for my hypertension issues.
