Habs vs Red Army New Years Eve, 1975. Might have been the best game ever. Certainly it was the best tie name ever.

And here it is. (frank) was that Montreal team ever good

The 2011 Bruins would’ve won for sure.

I worked at the state house of Massachusetts as an intern that summer. I was 20 and my sister worked for the state and her office was around the corner. Everyone in the office knew I was a huge bruins fan so they let me leave early that day. I think it was a Wednesday. I met up with her around 3 and we went to a bar right near the garden and I was able to get in with my fake ID and we scored a table for the whole night. What a night.

Then the next fall, when they raised the banner, I came up for the game. They called me the week before and said come swing by we have the Stanley Cup at the state house. That was the first time I saw the cup and got a great picture with it.

With no hockey my stress levels are way down. Even this virus doesn’t stress me out as much as the leafs do.

The leafs are at least partly responsible for my hypertension issues.

Time to admit that I used to be a Habs fan. Grew up in Ottawa when those were the only games we could watch. Upside was I got to watch them kick the poop out of the Bruins regularly. Maybe we’re all paying for that now. Sorry.
