in past years getting Rask some time off always seemed an issue, not so much now with Halak. Pasta's not gonna want to take time off when he could lead the league in goals. |

Rest Chara & Bergy if we can lock up 1st. They always seem worse for the wear during playoffs. |

THIS !!!!
You have to rest up these 2, maybe Marshy/Krejci too, As long as there's no contract ramifications you can have a look at Studnicka see how he looks at this level knowing he is going right back to Providence
But yes I'm in total agreement |

Was a good road game. That 3rd period though - was a little dicey. |

Those are cringeworthy challenges. They need to change something when it comes to the minuscule offsides calls.
Bruins took it to them for the first two periods then went into defense mode in the third. Got sketchy. Massive W. |

ya I HATE THOSE BS CALLS, they go against the B's like 95% of the time and they NEED to be addressed in the off season, HATE THEM.
They rule was made for Obvious missed calls, not for slo-mo plays where there is a a minuscule of white ice showing or even worse when a guy's body is on-sides and his skate is in the air because well, he is skating Fing Stupid rule
That all said, REST BIG Z he will need when the Playoffs begin.
You have Connor Clifton and John Moore collecting dust right ? slot one in at a time and rest up Z, rest up Chuck, rest up Krug, Gryz one at a time.
Also if Miller is still skating, get him in there NOW he will need 10+ games just to get his legs back to NHL level.
Also saw something on Twitter (so it must be true) - Krug's numer is like 6-yrs at over 8m a year YIKES I hope not, that would be really tough to keep him

The fact that Kevan Miller has been skating a while now and hasn't been able to practice with the team is not a good sign. i wouldn't be surprised if he is done.
They also don't really need him.
I have a hard time believing that the Bruins would pay Krug 8 million. I also don't see him leaving to go to Detroit.. |

Can't see Krug getting 8+ / year. He's good on PP, but his lack of physical presence reduces his marketability. |

I must admit, he plays bigger than he is but I agree...mid 6 to 7/yr tops. No way is he worth more than everyone on the Perfection Line. |

there's always some idiot willing to overpay, but it helps the Bruins that he'd haveing a down year points wise.

He's on a 63-point pace... not sure that's "down" for him.
But... what stands out is his +/-. Not always best measuring stick - across teams. But within his own team he's very low - and he's not top pairing. Chara and McAvoy shoulder that burden.
6.5-ish is probably reasonable. |

Tell that to Erik Karlsson. He just got 11 and he doesn’t even remotely play any defense.
I think Krug will land right below Letang. 6 years, 6.75-7.25 ish |
