Thoughts for tonight.

1. Stadium Series Revenge
2. Role players need to keep stepping up. We’ve seen some good contributions over the past week from Nuke, Compher, Donskoi. Hoping Donskoi particularly can get hot.
3. Like most goalies, Frankie is getting better with reps. He’s going to play well on a back to back.
4. Last game before TDL. I think there is a chance this is the last time we see at least one roster player in an Avs sweater. (Zadorov, Jost, Graves, Kamenev)

Id be fine with Jost and or Kamenev traded. Graves cannot be dealt, hes been superb. If at all possible I would prefer to hang onto Z as well but Graves is just too valuable to lose.

I hear you, but you also have to think of the make up of this team right now and the prospects in the pipeline. Jost and Kamenev won’t get you a Domi-like difference maker. With Byram and Timmins coming Graves gets lost on the depth chart.

Believe me, I love Gravy. But you also have to sell high on an asset and his value will never be higher.

It will be an interesting trade deadline for the Avs. Some players are over performing, and could be sold at a higher than expected price (Nichushkin, Graves). I would rather not see any of the current roster players leave but the big picture is not all about this years playoffs. Lots of Dmen ready to make the next step, and forwards like Kaut, Dries are showing they can hang. It's a nice spot for Sakic to be in, great job Joe!
And as much as I've wanted to see Jost succeed with the Avs, a change of scene might be what he needs

Definitely agreed that his value will never be higher. But he's been so flipping good for us! I would just hate to see him leave. I can't believe that Joe got Namestnikov for peantus! A 4th rounder!??
