so the Habs would need to go something like 15-5-3 to have a chance at making the playoffs. Losing tomorrow to Pitts should basically close the books on this season and allow MB to start planning for next year without entertaining a playoffs push for this year.

If they acquire another RD (Dumba), they should trade Petry while his value is very high for a good D prospect and a 1st.
