I would of liked to see Jarry in net. - 10inchTerror
You can tomorrow, MM starts tonight.
(Edit: Terror already posted: Bjugstad out at least 8 weeks after surgery on a core muscle.) |

Galchenyuk-Blandisi-Hornqvist, is that the plan then? I didn’t think much of Blandisi last game. Not great with the puck and had a couple turnovers, although generally he’s been fine. I would sit Lafferty for 72 tonight, no doubt - WSCTeton17
Lafferty can play center which is what I hope they do. He was rotating with Blandisi yesterday. Galchenyuk and Hornqvist on the wings. |

I would of liked to see Jarry in net. Not due to MM hate but I think it will benefit both goalies. Mm is playing too much, Jarry needs the exp, and would be nice to see how the team plays in front of Jarry against the same team that just came back and beat them. See how much confidence the team shows in him. - 10inchTerror
I agree in general and would like to see Jarry get 1/4 to 1/3 of the starts, but like others said it's back to back so he should play tomorrow anyways. |

I mean, Rutherford has to be exploring trade options at this point, right? |

Ehh wait till deadline day haha or closer to it I should say - 668710
Well, I would say both have negative trade value now having suffered serious injuries. Previously probably neutral or in the case of Schultz (or maybe both) probably positive. This is the danger of waiting with guys who are constantly injured. I find it ironic that we traded "iron man" Kessel. |

Schultz our longer term with lbi and Bjugstad our roughly 8 weeks after core muscle surgery. Lotta these “core muscles” need surgery this year 🤔 - 10inchTerror
Really hope Letang is back soon. I may not be Schultz's biggest fan, but when the alternatives in the top 4 are JJ, Ruhwedel, and Riikola, that's worse. Wonder if this forces the Pens to use that cap space a little sooner. |

Two main trade pieces, Bjug and Schultz, who were ideal trade bait, are now out long term. Who would we put on the block that we can afford to give up? |

I would say it has to. It also probably means giving up someone JR doesn't want to give up, in addition to giving up draft picks he doesn't want to give up. |

Galchenyuk - Rinosaur
Yeah, that's pretty much it. I wonder how much value he has. I think his days of being marketed as a center are over so he is a struggling winger with question marks about his defensive game. He does have an expiring contract which is probably a positive for some teams and a negative for others.
Maybe he is a fit for a team looking for a PP specialist who plays on the right half wall and that same team has an expendable top 4 RD. Probably a small or non-existent list. |

Galchenyuk - Rinosaur
I'd love to see some team do a change of scenery with him.
I'm having trouble deciding if I want a RD or a forward more, depth is thin all-round. I guess a forward if Letang is back soon. |

I definitely go RD now. Forwards are a dime-a-dozen. And how long before Letang and/or Schultz get injured again? |

All his "new chance", "great opportunity", "fantastic centers" blabla is still in my ears/eyes, if just his performance on ice would have been half as enthusiastic. |

I think the Pens could send futures for a forward. |

They still have more defensemen than forwards and Letang is skating. Trade Galchenyuk for a defenseman and you're putting Blandisi in the top 12 until Christmas and hoping you don't get anymore forward injuries for the next month which feels unlikely. |

Not only that but Bob Grove (info guy) said that was the first regular season game where MM wasn’t hurt or pulled and his career sv% is like 870 or something. Would be nice to see how Jarry would do |

Nah, Riikola will be the 12th forward.
You're probably right, but isn't Horny close? Also, we are about to get a dose of JJ as the 2RD, so maybe that will sway your opinion a bit. |

A podcast with the two of them would probably be funny. I’m picturing a lot of whining, some really bad music, probably some good humor, and some obvious slights against Trump. Let’s get this thing going - WSCTeton17
I'd watch an episode of that before I'd watch a minute of the Buzzcast again.
But it might be hard to get good lighting from their mom's basements. |
