It's funny how Keefe has to do so little to look like a genius.

Look like a completely different team?

I personally don't give a poop about history. I care about right now and this season he's pretty invisible.

He looked pretty good Tuesday night...and in a hand full of other games this season.

Well, we got a point in the worst-officiated game of the year and with the most-injured lineup of the year. On the road against a really good and super hot team. I'll take it.

I'll take it also. Getting a point on the road is a good thing.

I see a lot of people blaming Matt Murray for the ot goal. I think Petterson played that poorly. I know it is 3v3 but isn't basic defense to prevent your opponent from cutting thru the slot. You must beat him to the spot and/or force him wide. I know I keep harking back to my basketball days. Yes, you want to force your man on his weak hand but there are just too many options when you let your opponent in the paint/house.

Literally no one embedded in the stats community believes this. “Anti-stats” people make up some retarded fallacies.

Pens were the better team by almost all metrics last night...except goaltending. Its actually surprising to look at the underlying stats this morning and see that they had the advantage even with 7 penalties against and without Sid and Tanger. They had 2 more shots on net than the Isles but the Isles had 4 more PPs than them including a double minor! hahah. They deserved a better outcome. I hope no one is discouraged after that loss because theres quite a few positives to be found.

Moving on.

I agree, but at the same time, why was Matt Murray halfway to the blue line? I understand coming out to challenge, but he came WAY out.

In a completely literal sense, my 6-year-old daughter could have put the put in the net from there because it was a gaping 3-foot-wide opening.

I hope so. There’s plenty of guys better than ZAR.

He was completely lost on that play. One of the worst examples of a goalie not knowing where the are in relation to the net Ive ever seen haha.

If we see a strong showing from Jarry tonight I think he'll get the next nod too.

I don’t know if you getting it is a good thing or bad thing. I’m lost, but I’m aware it’s directed at me.
- Rinosaur

It’s not directed at you. I’m calling Sullivan by his dreaded first name which is something moms do. I was going to look up his middle name but I assumed nobody would know it

I was thinking the same thing but MM also misplayed it and people here don’t really care about the process of how Nelson got the opportunity, they just want blood 🔥
