I follow Renaud Lavoie, consistently one of the most informed sources in hockey. Better than some garbage insiders like dredged. |

He's waiver exempt. Has only played 14 pro games in North America, in the AHL last year.
I've found the most accurate daily waiver lists are the ones posted daily by Renaud Lavoie. The way he cuts and pastes them in, they're all in one place, with no danger of missing anything in multiple tweets.

I lol’d at Hirsch complaining about Bo on PP2 on a night when the 1st unit was on fire. |

Hirsh is an idiot. If you can run a successful PP1 while adding horvat to the 2nd, that's a testament to proper depth and gives a the entire PP a different ability to be successful. People need to understand that having depth through a lineup instead of stacking two top lines and 1 unit of PP is a good thing and not a negative. |

Always untimely. Thoughtless comments. He is not very good at all. How did we never get rid of this guy... he haunts the market.

I felt Miller on the 1st unit to back up Petey with face offs and do his thing around the net with Horvat on the 2nd unit made the most sense since the trade. It is hard to imaging Horvat only getting 30 seconds or less of each PP but he can move up when the 1st unit gets stale off and on.
The first unit is still stacked even with Horvat off it. This is great.
I also like QH the lone D on the 1st unit with both Edler and Myers on the 2nd hammering pucks from the point with Ferland as the poop disturbing puck deflecting wide ass screening presence in front of the net. |

I could not agree more with the above.
I love what miller brings to the PP. Same with Leivo. It looks so different than last year. |

I hate preseason. Always creates more questions than answers (for fans at least). Can’t wait for meaningful games to start. |

The Carolina Hurricanes traded Faulk and a 5th round pick in the 2020 NHL Draft to the St. Louis Blues, in exchange for D Joel Edmundson, F Dominik Bokk, and a 7th round pick in the 2021 draft. The Blues then immediately signed Faulk to a seven-year, $45.5 million extension ($6.5 million AAV).

as soon as the meaningful games start then we can say that "its early" and "wait 10/15/20 games before judging". answers will be considered between christmas and new years |

Love how they still got a dman back. Canes still have like 34 dmen on their roster
I think Faulk’s a bit overrated so I like it for the Canes |

That’s true.
But at least we can start to make concrete statements about performance. So difficult to judge a players true ability during preseason.
If I was a coach I would lock down the roster as soon as possible and limit the amount of actual preseason games. I always thought it was a bit of a money grab by owners more than anything else. |

No reason why this team shouldn’t have 2 competent units for the first time in a long time. - Nucker101
its sad to think that IF Miller ends up being bumped down to 3C (unlikely at this point, by just hypothetically speaking), people would still whine about the cost of acquiring him, and Green's coaching, but in reality, if Miller does get bumped down because the top 6 is successful without him in it, I don't see it as a negative. I don't remember the Canucks having 3 capable scoring lines since the 2010/2011 team. I think this Canucks team has very 3 capable scoring lines, and that is something to be very excited about. |

preseason to me is nothing more than line experimenting, working on special teams, and the new guys to get used to new coaching systems. If you are able to come out of it with no injuries, its a win, if you are able to string together a few wins, bonus. |
