Quickie's not going anywhere. Not that I think he's irreplaceable, but we have a roster in a state of flux. He's a swiss-army knife that can plug any hole for a short period.

I like him, but with the additions of Trouba and Fox it just doesn't seem to make sense to have him at a sizable cap hit unless it's a 1 million deal

I wouldn’t be so quick to trade TonyD. He was our best dman on a terrible defensive team and looked like he was finally figuring it out last year. It’s very possible Fox starts in Hartford and I would hate to trade him bc we couldn’t get rid of Shattenkirk. TonyD isn’t the problem, Shattenkirk is, find a way to get rid of the problem, not cover it up for 2 more years and trade a 23 year old that looks like he’s putting it all together.

people have always dismissed no trade clauses and we've seen them used twice this summer, Kessel blocked to Minnesota, Kadri blocked to Calgary
