they are under the gun though, because the new 48 hour buyout window that they have begins no later than August 7th, so if they haven't made any deals by then they will be forced to do a couple of buyouts I think

If I’m not mistaken we can only buy out 1 player per buyout window? Since we didn’t buy anyone out the last time we’ll only be able to buy 1 person out this year.

2000 sci fi movie with John Travolta & Barry Pepper. Consistently up there when talking about the worst movies ever made. Some said it was an accurate portrayal of what scientology actually believes about aliens and other lifes/universe. SO BAD!

I did learn one thing about buyouts by reading this, Jesper fast cant be bought out because his contract is too low, there is a minimum value of a contract that can be bought out, like 3 million at this point I would think (and that's only in this 2nd buyout period, Fast could have been bought out in June, just as an example)

A buyout can only be performed on a player who was on the clubs reserve list at 3:00pm on the most recent trade deadline
The player must have a cap hit of at least $3,455,438 for the 2019 offseason

As per cap friendly, that means Strome and his 3.1 CANNOT be bought out.

Still haven’t found anything about how many players per buyout window. I’m pretty sure it’s only 1 though. We could’ve bought out 1 in June and 1 in Aug. Since we didn’t use the June one we can now only buyout 1 player this offseason.
