Good non- call, and the player playing stops and whines about it. The refs weren't falling for that regardless of if a penalty or not. GO Blues !!!!!!! - CappyJr.
ahhh NO...your blue pom pom waving has blocked your eyesight...
In this video at about 36 seconds, they show a slow motion replay from the front.
Bozo goes through the left skate, and then Acciari throws his right skate up wildly on his own... looks like a total embellishment... so if the ref saw that in real time that's incredible... - jduran10
This happens every time when a controversy event takes place. Someone always goes to slow motion to look for evidence to justify something. Maybe the person blinks or their hand twitches at a specific time then others get tricked into believing it is a giant conspiracy because they don't know better.
His right leg flew up after contact was made with his left...soooooo embellishment? Really? So he embellished his head hitting the ice? Did he embellish his knee ending up stretched back to his mouth too? Maybe he planned to do this in the 1st period because he knew they would need a PP?
Let's look at this logically. Do you expect the right leg to gently fold over and have him land in a comfortable manor? Sadly we live in a world with this thing called gravity. You have a player on the ice wearing skates with very little friction while his knees are bent (locked in place) and his body mass is now forcing him backwards. What happens to the right leg if it stays in the same position? It snaps. What happens when the human instinct kicks in that the body is in trouble? It reacts in very odd ways to avoid that danger. No different if an object is thrown at a person (heavy, sharp, soft, mushy) and they react at the last second, they flare their arms up and get out of the way in the weirdest possible ways even before they know what is being thrown at them. No one effortlessly ducks. This is basically something everyone learns after, I don't know...maybe after 2 years of living.
Officiating changes in playoffs, they want players to decide the outcome. The team that gets away with the most non calls usually wins the game, NOT the better hockey team. Make the calls like regular season AND give each team one video challenge.
Sure looked like Bozak hit the puck before he tripped him, maybe that’s what the refs seen. Again Boston gets all the calls generally speaking, it’s nice to see one go against them I feel.
Should have blown the whistle and made both calls.
The trip caused the stoppage, the dive was the additional penalty.
NO ONE could have argued those calls.
Personally, I thought the elbow to Krug's head should have been called.

Agreed, that was a much more blatant miss.
And I'm just surprised how many Philadelphia fans were in attendance, as only Philadelphia fans would do something like litter the ice half way through the 3rd period. No way good fans in Boston would do that.

Was similar to the no call against Blais 2 games ago. Was reaching and put themselves in a bad position.
Krug could of also gotten a charging call against steen. They are gonna let the boys play.
What nobody is mentioning is the fact that the Bruins had all the advantages last night. They're whining about the non call, but they had three power plays last night and failed to score, while the Blues had no power plays at all. And why wasn't Marchand called for low bridging Tarasenko late in the game? Bruins think they deserve it all.
What are you talking about? That was a total trip in slow mo and in real time. Refs plain blew that one. If the refs thought he was exaggerating both men would be going to the box.
Refs missed a BIG call. There’s no other way to say it. I’m a sabres fan too so I absolutely hate Boston but that was a ridiculous conclusion on the writer’s part.
