Yep, missed call. But no worse than some of the other blown calls this game that went in Bruins favor. The fact Boston thinks represents a low point for officiating these playoffs shows just how good they've had it. |

FFS really... directly caused a goal. That's a brutal missed call in the same way it was brutal when SJ hand pass won them the game vs STL.
Officiating is garbage, all around, it's garbage. |

How many non calls have there been on both sides throughout the series? Throughout the playoffs? Or calls that should not have been made that led to goals on a powerplay when teams should not have had a man advantage. We all can rattle off a long list of non calls or calls that led to goals. I for one just want consistency and a true understanding of what the league and refs consider for example "interference". I know what the rule book reads, but reciting the rule doesn't explain the different interpretations of the rule throughout each game. |

Oh it was a missed call alright..but you know what....I'm ok with it.....how many missed calls have the Bruins had go their way...Checks to the head, punches to the head, tripping the goalie after the whistle or Krug's 200 foot charge....Even in the first series with the leafs I recall the Bruins getting away with so many non-calls. Remember the lovely elbow from Debrusk?? Well this one didn't go your way and it cost you much like the other teams before this game..So suck it up. |

I like that the ref said play on after seeing the ridiculous embellished fall. Why bother taking them both off? |

100% agree. It was a trip but also an embellishment.
It was either no call or coincidentals |

The knee on knee, the punch to Tavares' head, the clear suspension for McAvoy, that somehow was only 1 game. Nothing for Marchand intentionally breaking a stick, only 2 minutes for a headshot by Pastrnak drawing blood, the multiple times in the playoffs when the Bruins were down and started getting consecutive powerplays until they tied it or went ahead. The falling down by Pastrnak whenever someone is near him, that little low-bridge by Marchand late in yesterday's game, the punch to the back of the head by Marchand... I am sure we could come up with more.
There is a reason literally every other fanbase has noticed Boston gets away with poop and this narrative has been going on for years. |

Exactly. Some sketchy calls have won the bruins several games so bruins fans have no right to conplain.
The blues have been the better team and are winning the series. Thats really all that matters. |

The refs blew it , it was a penalty . They may have changed the outcome of the series because of it. Although I still think the Blues may choke. |

Bang on and I saw it the same way. Play should have been stopped though and the trip and embellishment should have both been called. |

What kind of idiot would fall backwards and hit his head?
It was a slewfoot, but it was only helped because Acciari was skating backwards. |

The same kind of idiots who turn towards the boards late looking to be blasted in the back and drawing a boarding penalty regardless of personal safety. |

Maybe if Acciari wasn't sulking afterwards he could have gotten up and back into the play to stop the goal.
He embellished. Good non call. Play on. |

Last night I thought it was a brutal non call.
However, I watched the highlight from a different angle.
https://www.nbcsports.com...xtend-st-louis-blues-lead
In this video at about 36 seconds, they show a slow motion replay from the front.
Bozo goes through the left skate, and then Acciari throws his right skate up wildly on his own... looks like a total embellishment... so if the ref saw that in real time that's incredible... |

I wasn't a blown call. It was a blown fall on Acciari's part. If he had just went down without the exaggerated motion, then it probably would have been called. The fact that he propelled his other leg back so much is why the ref let it go. Why stop the game at that point for coincidental minors? |

a team with Marchand and Chara….who push the line every single game.... can hardly whine about a non call. I don't like when they lead to goals, but Boston has been on the other end of these calls all playoffs.
