All kidding aside, a Kessel for Subban trade does make sense. Preds would have to take back another player to even out the salaries. Not Jack Johnson. 😂 - gergeswillems
It does make sense... Preds would have to move Kessel to defense though. That way he could ignore playing defense completely and focus on offense without the coaching staff even blinking an eye. |

Seriously though, if Pitt is serious about Subban, P.K. for Phil is the only move that really makes sense. Not sure what else Pitt could offer for Subban that would make the deal worth it for Nashville. If they're trading Subban, it's going to be for legitimate fire power, not more middling players we already have a healthy stack of. |

Phil has not missed a game in 10 years and had his best 2 seasons into his 30's. Maybe he knows something no one else does? - RogerRoeper

Ho hum. Tarasenko and Schwartz combine for another goal. But Schenn is the monster after Ek watched his first Blues game in months. |

Only if the deal we're contingent on the Pens moving Schultz though. Or, a three way deal that brings the Pens another forward. The pens would be too tight against the cap if it were Kessel for Subban...and, I don't see the Pens throwing in more unless there's more in return. |

What could LA possibly have that PIT wants for kessel? If Zucker was the main piece for wild I don’t think Kings can match that. I doubt they’d trade toffoli. - KINGS67
If Kessel comes to LA it will be a waste. The Kings current team is slow, not that skilled, and the oldest team in the league. Kessel's production would drop big time on this Kings team. The only way it would be awesome for LA is they were able to dump one or 2 of their aging vets and then flip Kessel for picks/prospects which would never happen because Pitt wouldn't want any aging vets (not talking about Doughty).

Agreed. Bruins leader Brayden Schenn's great great grandson, Aidan Schenn will be draft eligible by then. - gergeswillems
