Hearing currently that Phil Kessel deal could be back alive...and maybe still in Minnesota, although I am also hearing the Kings and Flames deals are being discussed....There is also plenty of talk between teams involved with the Penguins because it is CLEAR to me that Phil Kessel is just part 1 of a major revamp Rutherford has in mind...and to Rutherford it is not about who he is moving out, but rather who is coming in...And the Penguins are all about bringing in a D-man.

PK Subban is #1 on their priority list. Others they are considering..Trouba and Myers in Winnipeg...There are even rumors the Penguins have talked to the Flyers about a D-man. And as bizarre as the prospect of a Pens/Flyers deal sounds, these rumors are coming from some very legit places...

Wild turn to William Nylander?

If the Wild can't convince Kessel to come the belief is they could take similar assets and try to land William Nylander after July 1 when the Leafs have to pay him the big signing bonus....

Canadiens trying to move up in draft?

I keep hearing that Montreal will be "ULTRA" aggressive at the draft in an attempt to move up in the draft....

More to come...
