Easy to dwell on the good,

What about Pasta.. a freaking turnover machine last night. If he does one more no look pass where there arent any bruins, I'm gonna whip my beer bottle at the my neighbors tv.

He's making me insane with the turnovers., That one last would've made Dennis Wideman blush.

So.... think we'll be able to dump John Moore and his contract in the offseason? I'm willing to bet he falls behind Lauzon and Vaalkaanaaniaanaaiiaann next year as well

lol.. no love what the kids doing, he'd been earning every minute he gets. I was just flipping out last night, and Pasta has been doing this the whole playoffs for the most part.

I think they would move Miller before Moore.

I don't see many teams jumping to take Moore with four more years on his contract. With one year left and a very reasonable cap hit, I can see teams taking a shot on Miller.

I do like the upside Lauzon showed in his brief time with the Bruins. I also do like Vaakanainen and his potential, but he's probably better off with one more year of seasoning in Providence.

Moore was signed specifically for the Seattle Battle Cattle to take in the expansion draft.

Clifton has been the Bruins 7th player this post season. Really amazing the way he’s playing.

Am I the only one who likes John Moore? The way I see it, as long as Sweeney continues to manage the cap well, 2.7M is a good price for what he brings. A veteran 7th d man with elite skating that can fill in on either side on any pairing and contribute on PK and PP? Probably play around 50 games. What’s not to like? If they get in a cap crunch sure, dump him but I think he’s a huge commodity to have. I love Miller but I think he’s more expendable based purely on versatility

Moving Miller would be HUGE mistake. Yes he has had a terrible season injury wise, but without him we have no, zero, Zippo, gotta size anywhere.
Z has another year n maybe maybe one more. I doubt he will play 2 more.
Our D is manned by fast talented little smurfs our forwards and not exactly on the big size and Miller is our only scrapper the other players have to worry about.
Miller plays balls out every shift and is the first guy in to defend a teammate.
He is more valuable than you realize.

It's almost like they made the Cup Final without a scrapper...

Instant classic. Really depicts their pain and suffering of being unlovable losers.

my buddy sent me link to a story from back when he and I had season tickets 20 years ago, Berube and Sweeney actually fought, Dafoe and Ollie both tossed along with a couple others, Hall Gill ended up playing over 30 minutes.

So Sweeney and Berube have some old history, kinda funny.

Is this the part where we complain about the officiating cause we lost?
Fun to see the Leaf fans still seething about their loss.

Might hold more water if the Bruins didn't have too many men on the ice on their power play goal,

Side note - hope G is ok. Definitely a bad hit thugh G also put himself in a crazy bad position knowing he was going to get hit.

Sure Grzelcyk put himself in a bad position, but regardless of the position he put himself in, you can't hit the guy in that situation... Sundqvist saw numbers all the way, and he greenlit the back of Grz's head with his shoulder. The responsibility is on Sundqvist to not make that hit. That should be a suspension all day long.

Can we talk about how dumb it is that if you get a little chinny chin chin scratch it's a 4 minute double minor, but if you scramble someone's brains against the boards it's only a 2 minute minor?

(Posts Jpeg of ref wearing St. Louis colors)

Am I doing this right? Bruins lost cause they got pushed around and didn't respond. Sloppy sloppy defense. Can't play like that against this team.

They played like they expected to win, not wanted to win.
Completely out played, BUT... still forced overtime. Not gonna panic yet.

I'm not likely going to be popular in my comment section when I past later today or tomorrow in my piece that I believe Sunny should be suspended.

Blues have made 2 or 3 bad boarding type hits imho in the two games. I don't like those at all much like I didn't like Blais foregoing the puck to hit Braun (think it was) high or Krug foregoing the puck to charge Thomas.

I'm good with hockey hits that are part of the play but there are too many late, interference, opportunity style hits in the game for my liking. I've seen and know too many people with concussion related issues that I changed my stance on it.

I said it weeks ago and I still believe that they need to completely overall officiating and many of the rules. Simple example, the rules don't allow for a 5 major penalty for a check to the head.

As low hanging fruit type things, why not let too many men, hand pass and the like also be called by a ref in the sky who would blow the horn to stop play? The on-ice officials would also be allowed to call them but you have another set of eyes that are looking for limited things. I'd give them off-sides review for obvious offsides (think Avs Matt Duchene) and get rid of the off-sides challenge.

No reason for either team to panic after either game imho. Still looks to me like its going to be hard fought, longer type series.

It appears NHL DOPS agrees with me. Hearing scheduled for today (likely in the afternoon given the Blues are flying in the morning I believe).

I predicted 1 game. We'll see what the DOPS wheel of suspension comes up with.

Gryz turned late.
Sunny was coming in hot.
I will be surprised if he gets a game.
The hit on Carlo was way more dangerous imho.
