I don't think I heard a single person complain about the Brassard trade when it happened. He was a baby when he got traded to the Pdns and they actually ended up saving face by getting McCann and Bjug.

I didnt like the exchange going from Hags to Gud but it's not the end of the world.

So that leaves us with the dumb trade for Reaves and the insanity that was signing JJ to that contract.

Not a good past 2 years but that's a lot of energy focused on crying.

Add me to the list of people that didn’t want Oleksiak moved. If we somehow could’ve ended up with him, Petts, and Ruhwedel fighting for spots on the bottom pair I think those would’ve been valuable and obviously leave us with cap space elsewhere. Jamie got the Sullivan treatment, didn’t he? Sully didn’t like his bad penalties as I recall. Hard to argue with much else regarding the blog.

Hey btw I was meaning to ask do you know of Jim Burcar? He played for the Salsa. He was easily the best coach I ever had. Really smart, big Stevie Y fan. I believe he owns the OC Hockey club now. Trying to remember my other coach’s name who played pro roller hockey too but the name is escaping me

Doesn't ring a bell. Chris Puscian was our coach. Played against Modano at Minnesota's rookie camp, obviously didn't make it.

Trading Bjugstad would be a huge mistake. He’s part of what we should keep.

RW was just mentioning the NTC or NMC attached to Fleury. Instead of just letting Fleury go to Vegas without question we also gave up the 2nd rounder which of course isn’t good asset management. I think that’s one of the lesser evils here. I’m more concerned with how we’ve shipped out a few players to appease HCMS and I hope it’s not too many others

The Brassard Trade: I was sad to see Cole leave, was relatively meh about the cost of getting Brass, but this was because I figured we would replace Cole with another defender.. we didn’t I’m optimistic that Petts can continue to develop into a second pairing defender. If we keep our core then I’m all for extending Schultz and rolling Dumo, Letang, Petts, and Schultz as our top 4

Yes. The Pens roster is still good enough to beat anyone in the league. The players didn’t show up in the playoffs. Blaming the players, much like blaming children is something whiny little female doges never do.

Since Marner was brought up.. does he get the same AAV as Matthews? Same term? That’s kinda what I’m thinking is that Dubas will try to match terms and get it done before 7/1.

I know Patty is big on Kadri - I think he gets dealt among others. Wouldn’t surprise me to see Nylander get some time at 3C next year, maybe Sheahan comes on for $1MM or whatever. We’ll see

Dude, nobody has ever doubted that some of those trades are awful. But hearing you whine about them 3 times a week for an entire year is beyond annoying. Either get some actual material or quit blogging. You've said the same thing 6000 times.
