IF CBJ wins the Cup, will Panarin and Bob decide to resign with CBJ ? - StutzBlackhawk
In tbis crazy world a basketball person became NHL Commissioner. An actor President of the country. What is next: Trump lines up an expansion team out of
St. Petersburgh, Russia. Where Panarin and Bob land.

Panarin to the Islanders, Duchense to Trashville - LAHawk
Duchene would be a good fit in Nashville in more ways than one. |

What I saw in U18´s I liked Krebs, Newhook and Turcotte better than Cozens. I think Blackhawks are going to choose between Byram or Turcotte. That is my guess. Byram´s stock has to be rising and not falling. - MjulQvist
Remember, what you see now isn't or shouldn't be what scouts are looking for. Projection of a player in 3 to 7 years is how scouts have to try to forecast. It's possible Byram or Turcotte look the best now and are projected to be the best in a few years or Cozens who doesn't look so great as an 18 year old may be projected to be the better player. Athleticism, hockey smarts, competativeness and possibly dedication can all be seen and measured when they are 18, their growth as hockey players is what will seperate the good scuts and the best scouts. |

I wonder how long before the NHL becomes a global league and when/if it does how trading players will work? Imagine getting traded from LA to Vladivostok? I guess, not factoring travel, it can't be any worse than Winnepeg. |

I’m guessing we’ll have to wait for Hypersonic Air travel to become a reality first. |

The NHL could get a contract with Aeroflot. |

Tyler Cameron: Hi, My REAL Name is…
It was November 2nd, 2017 when I posted my first blog here on Hockeybuzz under the name Justin Lowe.
231 blogs later, a lot has changed. The Hawks have had a lot of ups-and-downs and I know we're all hoping they are on the trend upwards. - Tyler Cameron
This one sounds fake too though...you’ve lost my trust after the initial lie |

I´m aware of that and I´m not a scout. So what I see is where my opinion comes. But scouts are not fortunetellers either. No one will no for sure who will be best or better down the road. There are many circumstances that affects in young player development down the road that you just don´t know.
Jack Hughes and Kaapo Kakko looks best now and might not become best of the draft but they will go first and second. |

White russian cocktail would contain Bailey's, perfect for Irish Foley. Just pass on the russian vodka. NHL channell for highlights. Imagine Foley slightly innebriated trying to pronounce the longer russian names.....meanwhile a goal was scored while he was describing what player made the initial pass which lead to the goal.
It could be worse. Never imagined i would say it again - ready for this again 6628 blogger - about speaking the names - Harry Carey and Jimmy Piersal on white sox broadcast attempting to spell and pronounce last names ....backwards. Later Harry said he was a John Wayne fan but Jimmy preferred The Untouchables. What song would they play when the teams come on the ice? Here Come the Hawks or Back in the USSR (Beattles) |

It's for that reason and the fact I have not seen all the prospects that I won't make a prediction on who the Hawks may or may not select. I'm good with whoever the Hawks do select as I'm sure they have factored in all the criteria. And you're right about fortune telling because I'd argue Duncan Keith should have gone #1 overall in 2002 yet all scouts, including Chicago's, saw him as a second rounder. |

I fully agree with the bolded one. And I´m just guessing it´s race between Byram and Turcotte but I might be wrong with that. |

Curious whether New Jersey trades diwn because they do not want to take a smallish center #1. Imagine with Hall out injured often is a concern so maybe they want to select a physical forward. Bookend with Hall or establish two tough fast forward lines to compete with top E a Eastern Conference teams. Just a thought[url] |

New Jersey also has to consider whether they want to pay up or trade Hall as he is a UFA after this year

I'm guessing they re-up Hall. The Devils don't have much as far as offensive weapons after Hall, Hischier, and Palmieri.
Zajac is a good middle 6 center but not a game breaker.
Zacha has not lived up to potential yet. Thought he and Meier on the Sharks would have a similar trajectory and style of game. Meier has exploded while Zacha has not. |

Tyler you always provide some insightful thoughts and breakdowns.
It's been great watching all these games and the upsets that have occurred are astonishing.
2 players that I've been really surprised by
Matt Duchene his overall game and work ethic has lead him to some big time goals.
Columbus is my pick to win the cup
Also I've been impressed with Brock Nelson.
If Chicago is looking to target any free agent centers those 2 seem to be good additions
Also Barrie has been impressive on the blue line
It will be Columbus and Colorado in the Stanley cup

that would be interesting but the blues also would have hard time affording him under the cap: 13 players signed for $63 mildo. Maroon and del zotto = UFA; Binnington, Fabbri, Sundquist, Bortuzzo |

I doubt Marner would sign the offer sheet if it came from Ottawa. |
