Tyler Cameron: Hi, My REAL Name is…
It was November 2nd, 2017 when I posted my first blog here on Hockeybuzz under the name Justin Lowe.
231 blogs later, a lot has changed. The Hawks have had a lot of ups-and-downs and I know we're all hoping they are on the trend upwards. |

Good one ... Nate the great.. not that he wasn’t A known commodity, but he’s been straight ridiculous..
and Cale .. wow, nice playoff addition for the Avs
And how about Heiskenan in big D ... Kid is pretty sweet ...
Any team serious about winning the cup needs to make a serious play for the breadman... those 2 goals agains the B’s .. well that’s just not something you see everyday.
Avs win the cup over Cbus .. |

Knew MacKinnon was a hell of a player but he is showing he's a top player in the world with his playoff performance. He's been so impressive. |

Fogol from Carolina has impressed me as for trade targets i be looking at rfa's teams that would have cap problems and cannot sign said player. Paquette erne from Tampa copp from Winnipeg miller/ McNabb eakin carrier from Vegas matta from pitt burokosky from Washington etc.. I m sure there many others as hypothetical say hawks do sign Panarin, personally he cost to much so pass, then maybe hawks could put package together including saad and AA sikrua and d prospect for a truboa like defense man. |

He's been great. He played on that Erie Otters team in 2016-17 with DeBrincat and Strome as well. Would be a nice add for sure. He's impressed me. |

I've been watching a fair amount of Dallas' games, so as far as game changer,
I've enjoyed watching Heiskanen and in CAR Slavin and Aho.
Hawk targets? Probably not, but I've liked watching guys like Richardinson or Hintz from DAL or McGinn or Neideraiter on CAR and trying to envision them in bottom or middle 6 roles.
Who wins it all? Hopefully no one. |

Soooooo....Tyler, is it???....you sure this time???
Ah, will read you whatever name you use, good stuff!
Players who I have been impressed with....
Slavin - Canes.....big minutes, can move the puck, blocks shots. Solid!
Benn - Dallas. Always liked him, thought maybe was declining. Solid both ends of the ice in games I have watched. Game at an all-time high.
McAvoy - Bruins ....this guy gonna be a stud for years. can hit. can move puck. All around solid. REALLY like his game. |

Nothing like coming out of the closet!!
Just kidding. You do a wonderful job.
Right now, there is a better than 50 50 chance that the 7 and 8 seeds for both conferences will go to the conference finals. Yes nothing is settled, but....
I do not disagree that the Hawks could improve their roster, but if what we are seeing now does not support what I and others have said about parity and imperfect teams, then I do not know what will.
Which is why you ALWAYS want to be in the playoffs.
Man Jose, the highest point team left, is far from a juggernaut. The Islanders are learning, as Trotz learned with Nashville for many years with great defensive play, is that if you can not score, you will not win.
Columbus will grind down Boston. They are a sort of second coming of the Kings of 5 years ago. Heavy team, great goaltending and timely scoring.
Heiskanen will be the next Nick Lidstrom of the NHL. Amazing talent and poise.
Anyhow, back to the hole..... |

One scout said he was tired after long season. If you are tired after playing under 30 games in KHL/MHL/VHL combined..maybe you are not in good shape or something? |

I wanted so much that upset first round because it just opens things up.
It is more like who I do not desire to win Lord Stanley's Cup.
San Jose ....because of the hits to the head by Joe Thornton against a just returned from concussion Jonathan Toews.
After that I am happy for any of them, and am not against the Blues or Central division.
Somehow I think things are going good because of the way the defenders are moving quickly, pushing the pace.
I especially like watching the entire top fours of the Hurricanes. Slavin, Faulk, Pesce, DeHaan, and the comeback by Hamilton too.
And the Dallas stats have basically THREE kids in vet Lindell (30 minutes last game), oung vet Klingberg ,and smooth moving rookie Heiskanen with Lovejoy and Polak backing them.
I am not trying to dismiss the dee corps of Boston and Columbus or the over achievers in Colorado but theHurricanes and Stars wouldn't have the loss they get without their high end contributions.
I think highly of the way the BlueJackets kids have rallied around the high powered options up front and Carlo drug MacAvoy and charm have the benefits of plenty of push and snipers, and semi snipers too.
I would mind any of those teams getting farther.
So your fast moving top four means guys like they drafted and maybe the Hawks need more? (Can of worms on Bowen opening...stick to the mantra...Trust Kelley) |
