Prout, the man hired to be a physical presence and protect his teammates and never did a damn thing... bye bye.
I too wonder why this guy is leaving the K to come be an AHL defenseman? If he's dressing above anyone in our top 8 next year, I would be amazed. |

I just wish Neal would acknowledge his lack of footspeed/stamina to do anything out there and dedicate himself to getting in better shape, moving his feet more, and faster! Then he'll be more effective! |

Have to believe Brodie is gone and Andersson moves up. Valimaki will be on the team so that that leaves, Kylington, Stone and this guy in the 6-8 spots ? I don't know but maybe that's the plan. |

It was a tough loss for him 2 years ago. I wonder if after 2 trips to the finals (losses) and signing a fat 5 year contract he unconsciously lost some of is drive.
Hope he shows up next season. |

He looks pretty good in those clips - definitely worth giving him a shot. Thanks for the clips!

Now that the playoffs are over for us has anyone cooled down enough to start thinking about who we should draft?
For me I think I am really intrigued by the idea of going after Goalie Spencer Knight.
Bob McKenzie - TSNJan. 24 th: "Spencer Knight is the clear choice as the top stopper in this draft, a potential franchise player at his position. There are those associated with USA Hockey who believe the 6-foot-3, 197-pound elite athlete is on a trajectory to become one of the best American goalies ever."
Its hard to decide to pick a goalie in the first round but honestly looks like this guy might be worth taking a shot on.

Gaudreau pretty nonchalant in the after series presser. Thoughts? |

Just watched the clips of him. He’s probably better than Joe Levy. |

He doesn't strike me as a "rah rah" guy, so his demeanor doesn't bother me at all. |

I vastly preferred Gaudreau's thoughts to Neal's. Really Neal? You did nothing all season, and now you're going to wake up?
It all starts with training and preparation? So what were you doing after you signed your ridiculous contract last year? |

NHL teams should publish all the fitness testing results from training camp and players should be fined for inadequate results!
Kid gloves are off and if he does not show up next year the fans will boo him out of the city. |

Man, Knights fans and players gotta be pissed off this morning - that call last night was an absolute embarassment to the NHL. A series changed on a 5 minute major that wasn't even a 2 minute minor...
