In spite of the Hawk's absence, both teams won an equal number of playoffs series these playoffs.

I’m going with Colorado in the West and Columbus in the East.

Not a surprising ending at all, but damn, the 3rd period and OT were entertaining. Imagine if the Preds had a somewhat respectable power play...

I'll go ahead and say it: coaching change. Bye Turris, PK, Ellis. Peks may still have some left but it's time for the kid. Poile: get some scoring, and not these mediocre "if they get hot" playoff-no shows, but real scorers. Get bigger and go back to actually playing defense. I give you two years. If nothing changes, then bye Poile.

As far as the rest of the playoffs, I'm hoping the Blues and Avs in the conference final. Two young teams that would be fun to watch. In the East, Leafs and Columbus would be fun. I'm sick of the same teams every year, time for new blood.

Thank Gawd. Hate to say it glad they are out, to much stress to enjoy watching the game when you dont know which team will be there, either the good team or the really really bad one.

I felt for Pekka he deserves so much better, his team mates let him down..
I feel for the fans b/c the team didn't play for them.

I expect next year to be a rebuild year.
Please get rid of Ekholm, Turris and Hammy.

I'm a Hawks fan too...but playoffs you just never know what is going to happen. The Preds swept us a couple years ago. The Lightning got swept this year after a great regular season. Playoff hockey is the best and is just so unpredictable. I honestly have no clue who will win this year. With the Lightning, Flames and Jets out....anyone can win this thing. Crazy stuff.

That's what mekes playoff hockey the best in all of sports. Nashville has way too much talent to be planning for the off season. It's like they didn't care to be playing

A paper tiger. They've struggled since November. Inconsistent, awful power play, sloppy turnovers, difficulty maintaining the puck, defensive lapses, prolonged periods where they can't score. The bright spot has been in goal, because Peks and Saros have been hung out to dry many times. If not for them, it's doubtful the Preds even make the playoffs.

Paul and many of the Nashville media have had their head in the sand all year about the problems with this team. "They'll work it out", "They're better than this", yada yada yada. They aren't.

Having the worst PP throughout the league during the regular season, and continued to be an issue in the playoffs not scoring one PP goal in the whole series. Was definitely a big problem for them, pretty shocked to see their PP was that awful this year tbh.
