Eichel has been great this year. Buffalo has a similar problem to Edmonton. - Aaron_85
He's played well, for sure.
I more meant that he was a terrible choice for captain and that he's ugly as sin. 'Cause those are the things I don't like about him. |

I missed it - Ripsie doesn't like Eichel?
Weird. - Atomic Wedgie
Loves Eichel, hates Skinner. |

He'd make a great Leafs fan.
'member how we had Phil Kessel, who was finishing in the top 10 in NHL scoring every year, and we hated him because the rest of the team was terrible?
Pepperidge Farm remembers. - Atomic Wedgie
So stupid.
A few of my brothers buddy's would rip on Kessel and all I could think was; what?
I'm glad Phil won the Cup with Pittsburgh. |

No-one ever said he can't win a Cup. They said you can't win a Cup if he's your best player. And that's still true. |

I def imagined all those you will never win a cup with Phil Kessel on your team conversations.

Seems reasonable...
The real interesting bet would be how many grade A chances Nashville gets in the first.. there has to be a correlation between goals against with Marincrap in the lineup |

Arguably he was the best player in the first cup win. He lost to Crosby for mvp but I think that had more to do with a biased of voters. |

The narrative changes because noone wants to be wrong Haha.
I felt he was unjustly criticized in Toronto because he was never going to be a player to back check. |

I was saying we don't want to put them in that thread because they'll make the Canucks fans look smart |

He was the best scorer in that particular playoff run. He's at best the 3rd best player on the roster. |

Right. Ad arguably they couldnt win without his scoring in that cup run. Therefore, arguably they wouldnt have won without him being their best player. Arguably. |

I try to admit when I'm wrong. I may be wrong on Holl.
I dont think I'm wrong on Nylander though. Trading him isnt a bad idea and wont be surprised if hes moved in the off season. Unlikely but not surprising. |

Nazem Kadri brings some perspective to the #leafs current 1-3-0 slide: "This is nothing. I've been around for much darker days."
Pretty much my thinking. Almost guaranteed locked into 2/3rd in the division. Hard to stay motivated. They will be fine imo. |

Moot point I guess. He was not treated fairly when he was here, and I think we're all happy he had success elsewhere. |

The only thing that will make people feel and think differently is if they can get through Boston. |
